Actually, I'm just trying to work out why:

'^'.(grep$_[$_],1..@_)[0]

..wouldn't always win if it got executed first.

Well, it will always p0wn the closest agent, but as long as that second agent
is owned by you, the first one becomes useless. Worst, a second player could
p0wn it in turn in a subsequent iteration and trigger a massive p0wning chain
reaction.
