Query on Perl DBI installation on Linux

Hi I installed the perl and DBI, DBD::Oracle module.
I am getting the below error while I try to execute the DB connection perl coding.
Please let me know what is the problem and the solution for this.
Perl version : 5.8.8
Linux wapduvirtual062 2.6.18-308.4.1.el5 #1 SMP Wed Mar 28 01:54:56 EDT 2012 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux



install_driver(Oracle) failed: Can't load '/usr/lib64/perl5/site_perl/5.8.8/x86_64-linux-thread-multi/auto/DBD/Oracle/Oracle.so' for module DBD::Oracle: libclntsh.so.11.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory at /usr/lib64/perl5/5.8.8/x86_64-linux-thread-multi/DynaLoader.pm line 230.

Compilation failed in require at (eval 3) line 3.
Perhaps a required shared library or dll isn't installed where expected
at test.pl line 2

Hi,

Make sure you set the LD_LIBRARY_PATH environment variable to the directory whre you have the instantclient installed.
