I don’t think that’s how backpan is supposed to work. It’s not much of a backup if you trust another “backup” to not lose data, if that makes sense.

(We have a backpan at backpan.perl.org, but I don’t think it has rsync enabled).

We changed the DNS entries and by coincidence the server crashed this night.
