Hello everyone,

Just asking if https://perkeep.googlesource.com/perkeep/ shouldn't be used anymore. I was just confused.

I decided to rebuild perkeep after a long time, again. While doing the usual git clone I was wondering why I didn't get the latest changes. Turns out my "origin" remote points to https://perkeep.googlesource.com/perkeep/ and that remote is not updated for 7 months. Github has recent changes. After pulling from Github I had to do a manual merge commit.

Thanks and regards
Niklas

Yeah, we moved to GitHub as upstream some time ago. It was announced on this list.

fwiw, I don't think that's the correct announcement.
Niklas and Brad were talking about the fact that we went from a google
hosted gerrit, to github.

Yes that's the wrong announcement. I got the news that PRs on Github are now the way to propose changes. But I didn't get that Git on Google Source wont be updated anymore.

Anyway I now changed the origin to Github and that's fine.

You are right. The discussion thread about moving off Gerrit seems to be this one: https://groups.google.com/d/msg/perkeep/terI3u9hfqg/tShqmYRyCAAJ

Sorry for the noise. :-)
