MCMC's (SKMM) Call for Proposal - Networked media research grant : 1 Apr - 9 May '14

Sukacita kami umumkan "Call for Proposal (CFP)" di bawah, hasil dari Bengkel bersama SKMM awal tahun lepas yang telah disertai oleh pakar ICT PERINTIS.  Beberapa "Field of Research" (FOR) termasuk yang berkaitan dengan etika/akhlak penggunaan media digital yg telah disarankan oleh pakar PERINTIS telah disertakan dalam CFP kali ini.

Saudara/i ahli PERINTIS adalah dijemput untuk memohon geran penyelidikan dalam FOR di bawah. Sila rujuk pengumuman dari SKMM dalam email yang dilampirkan. Saudara/i adalah digalakkan untuk menghubungi Dr Norazan Mat Zin, Dr Salwani Mohd Daud dan Dr Shahrizal Sunar (pakar-pakar IT PERINTIS - sila rujuk website PERINTIS) jika berminat untuk berbincang dan memulakan kerjasama bagi memohon geran ini, oleh kerana mereka telah menjalin kerjasama dengan SKMM.

1.4.7 Archiving and access (cataloguing and classification of research relating to networked media).

2014 Call for Proposal

Networked Media Research Collaboration Grant

Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission

 

We are pleased to inform that the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) has issued a Call for Proposal (CFP) for its Networked Media Research Collaboration Grant.  The duration of the Call is from 1 April 2014 until 12 noon, 9 May 2014 and is open to eligible researchers who are attached to registered institutions of higher learning in Malaysia. 

 

The CFP is a unique research grant opportunity that is funded by the MCMC which focuses on research relating to Malaysian’s use of networked media and its content (as defined in the Communications and Multimedia Act, 1998).  The Networked Media Research Collaboration programme was established to engage the communications schools of Malaysia’s institutions of higher learning but has also funded a number of cross-disciplinary research that studied different perspectives relating to the use of networked media and its social impact.   Grant awards range from RM50,000 to RM200,000 for six month to two year projects; however, larger projects will also be considered.
