There are multiple reasons for improper functioning of Logitech G Hub software on your computer. A common reason can be the inability of the Windows OS to determine whether this program needs to be started or not. This happens when Windows thinks that this program is already running, but you think Logitech G Hub installation has failed. In some cases, Windows Firewall blocks this software from running.

Microsoft Visual C++ is necessary modual to make start Logitech G hub software on a computer. So make sure it is installed on your computer. If it is already installed, then you should try to reinstall it again.

If you think your Logitech G Hub software is installed properly, but is not loading at start-up, then maybe Windows thinks that the program is already running. Solve this problem by following the steps given below.

Sometimes Windows Defender Firewall blocks Logitech G Hub from running on your computer. Therefore, you will have to manually allow this program in Windows Firewall. The steps for doing this are given below.

The installation process is not even showing. I tried to run the installer even as administrator but nothing happened. no pop ups, nothing. I downloaded the latest version of G hub for windows 10. hope to get help for this issue.

I have a problem with lghub. Monday it started to bug so I just uninstalled it. I searched on Logitech website downloaded the installer programme. And I tried to launch it but when I do the sign above my mouse appear and the programme appear in the task manager but after 10second everything disappear without having done anything.

1. How I will Create and Login if the App isnt installed
2. all my anti viruses all that firewall disabled so that maybe other problem
3. I will be happy if you will answer fast as possible for you

OFC I installed all I did I even tryed to reinstall windows (without reset) and even that doesnt worked so I feeling right now that I buyed the mouse for nothing but anyway I need you to tell me other things that can work

Im Sorry but its doesnt worked all that steps but when I starting my Computer I gotting a notfication about logitech so maybe if I will success to remove it maybe the instillation will work
Link for the picture of the notfication :

This is not recommended because a hacker could have introduced a virus into this driver file. Having a digital signature helps to prevent this. So unless Logitech can at least provide a MD5 checksum value, for example, as confirmation, I would not trust installing this file onto my computer.

Hello Christian. Running Windows 7 here and just got a brand new Logitech G432 headset. The same OS incompatibility message appears for me when running lghub_installer.exe from the Logitech website. Apparently G Hub 2021.4.3830 does not support Windows 7 / 8.

I decided to try a previous version of G Hub. For some reason, all the supposedly previous versions of G Hub I downloaded from Logitech are exactly the same version, 2021.4.3830. I googled G Hub 2021.3.5164 and downloaded it from _installer-2021-3-5164.exe and ran this installer and this worked fine for me.

You hit the mark! Thanks to you for the invention. I spent the whole day on trying to install G Hub in my Windows 8.1. I tried the available methods and came to your solution. You saved me time and nerves. Greetings ?

Just wondering, has anyone had any success with an older version? If so, can you please share and let me know what version works on Windows 7 x64 that does not produce the error message above? I would like to avoid testing each version if someone else has already done so. I would appreciate your response very much!

hello, i had the same problem, I did the steps here, I downloaded the microsoft visual (which i dont think was actually needed, and i ran the old version of ghub which worked fine. I also had to delete previous files of ghub and worked like a charm. thanks so much for the help

I have found that if you have an internal SATA storage adapter installed (PCIE), it will cause the pc to lock up when installing this. I removed the side panel and disconnected the SATA cables from the adapter and it installed fine. After installation, I reconnected the SATA cables and the app works. I found this fix on another site a few years ago. I wish they would fix the app.

Tried above, no luck (Failed to initialize error). I had to shut down as many SYS TRAY items as I could. Also copied install from network drive to local physical drive (c:). Not sure which of above fixed it, but it finally installed.

Try to change de wifi connection, try the 2.4 ghz. I tried all the steps above, no one works for me. I changed the wifi and installed the app.
First I was in a mesh wifi, then I change to a 2.4 ghz.

Was a happy but occasionally frustrated Raspberry PI 3B Volumio user for the last 9 or so months. I was astonished at what this software could accomplish, setting a web server and easily accessible over AirPlay for this iPhone and Mac user. WOW.

But I had enough performance/lockup/crashing issues (not a complaint!!) on the Pi that i thought about moving to a another small format CPU with more resources. I picked up a 2010 Mac Mini (the last year before they went to the CD-less format) for about the cost of a pair of paper clips and thought that this might do the trick.

The OS boots on the Mini smoothly, and displays to a monitor with keyboard and mouse control by default. The logitech mouse via the Logitech receiver did NOT work well, but an old school wired USB mouse (always keep one handy!) did the trick.

A very late response. But I also have an old mac mini that I want to put volumio on.
I flashed the latest X86 version on a USB stick.
However when I want to boot from the USB stick it gets stuck on the next screen. Any idea what I can do about this?IMG_20210409_21361740001824 740 KB

USB DACs will work with Volumio, Linux has a standard USB Audio driver which covers most of these on the market. Refer to the compatibility thread in this forum, when it says a particular USB DAC works, then it does not matter whether that was said for PI or X86, with the latest kernels and Volumio versions, PI and X86 support the same devices.

My advice, try again with the later versions, you could use this one, should cover it little more, perhaps even analog sound or spdif.
Boot, run through the wizard but do not add an nfs share yet (we have an issue here). Reboot and then try adding a share.

Okay, what to do: I download the .img zip file. I unpack these.
Then I write the .img file to the USB stick with Rufus.
This should normally be okay, right?
And if I then want to write a new .img to this USB stick, can I do it in exactly the same way? Or should this USB stick be completely erased first?

MacPorts is an easy to use system for compiling, installing, and managing open source software. MacPorts may be conceptually divided into two main parts: the infrastructure, known as MacPorts base, and the set of available ports. A MacPorts port is a set of specifications contained in a Portfile that defines an application, its characteristics, and any files or special instructions required to install it. This allows you to use a single command to tell MacPorts to automatically download, compile, and install applications and libraries. But using MacPorts to manage your open source software provides several other significant advantages. For example, MacPorts:

MacPorts is developed on macOS, though it is designed to be portable so it can work on other Unix-like systems, especially those descended from the Berkeley Software Distribution (BSD). In practice, installing ports only works on macOS. MacPorts base can be compiled on Linux (and possibly other POSIX-compatible systems) where it is mainly used to set up mirrors and generate support files for installations on macOS.

This chapter shows you how to install MacPorts and its prerequisites step-by-step. Note that the section about installing Xcode is macOS-specific. If you wish to install MacPorts on another platform, first make sure you have a working C compiler installed, skip ahead to installing MacPorts from source, and continue to the end of the chapter.

Always make sure to install the latest available version of Xcode for your macOS release; using outdated versions of Xcode may cause port install failures. Also note that Xcode is not updated via OS X's Software Update utility on OS versions prior to 10.6, and is updated via the Mac App Store starting with 10.7.

Next, open a terminal, run xcode-select --install, and click the Install button to install the required command line developer tools. Don't worry if you see a message telling you the software cannot be installed because it is not currently available from the Software Update Server. This usually means you already have the latest version installed. You can also get the command line tools from the Apple developer website.

Xcode 4.3 and later do not automatically install the command line tools, but MacPorts requires them. To install them, open the Xcode application, go to the Preferences window, to the Downloads section, and click the Install button next to Command Line Tools. Be sure to return to this window after every Xcode upgrade to ensure that the command line tools are also upgraded.

If you are using Mac OS X 10.6, there are two branches of Xcode which could be considered to be the latest, 3.2.x and 4.x. Xcode 4 costs money, but Xcode 3 is still available free of charge. There are two options for downloading it:

Xcode 3.2 - smaller download, but you will need to run Software Update after installing to get the latest version. Note that Apple might at some point discontinue providing these updates via their update servers.

If you have an earlier release of Mac OS X, you may download the latest version of Xcode for Mac OS X 10.5 (Xcode 3.0 and Xcode 3.1 Developer Tools) or 10.4 (Xcode 2.4.1 and Xcode 2.5 Developer Tools) from the Apple developer website.

If you are using macOS, you should install MacPorts using the macOS package installer unless you do not wish to install it to /opt/local/, the default MacPorts location, or if you wish to install a pre-release version of MacPorts base. However, if you wish to install multiple copies of MacPorts or install MacPorts on another OS platform, you must install MacPorts from the source code.
