All school uniforms will be collected directly from the school concerned. If you are looking to drop off brand-new uniform items, please bring them to our new premises Anchor Building, 86 Westgate, Morecambe, LA3 3DD.

Yes, absolutely! You can help us by setting up your own neighbour, school or business drop off point, collecting gently-used or brand-new items of all ages and sizes. Gently-used items must be clean, with no stains, rips, tears or frayed edges please! We are not accepting any shoes, socks or undergarments.

Your name and postcode are kept for our personal reference and use only and will not be passed onto any third party that is not connected to our work. We may, on occasion, have conversations with your point of contact for the referral.

We have very limited resources, which means we have had to make some very difficult decisions. Clothing distributed will be subject to availability. Please ask your school directly about the need for items bearing the school logo. For the foreseeable future, we will not be able to distribute school shoes due to the difficulties in sourcing individual sizes, needs and personal taste.

Yes. Please return items to your collection point with any original packaging or in a sealed bag (a tied plastic bag is fine). Please let us know the reason (too small/big) so that we can arrange a replacement.

There is no charge for the recycled items available through our shop in Morecambe; however, this is currently closed until further notice and will not reopen until we are able meet the social distancing requirements. Should you wish to make a financial donation, this is at your discretion. You will not be asked to do so and there is no expectation that you should.

The Headteacher and Governing Body expect all children to adhere to agreed standards of appearance and to wear the school uniform. This is to help develop a sense of belonging and community and is important when representing the school.

All logo school uniform can be purchased from Uniform & Leisurewear, 60 Euston Road, Morecambe, LA4 5DG. If you choose to order over the phone or via the website you have the option of collecting from the shop or from school by arrangement.

We encourage Velcro fastenings on shoes for the younger children until they can tie their own laces. Boots are not allowed in school. Children that arrive at school in boots must bring a change of footwear or must wear their PE pumps.

It's a great opportunity for people who have finished with gently used uniform to recycle it, and for families who need some help, to ensure that children arrive at school smart and ready to learn.

All our donated uniform is carefully checked by our volunteers and professionally cleaned my Johnsons on Caton Road, before making its way to our uniform shop. Johnsons have generously offered there time and resources to us for free, to ensure that all the uniform we provide through the project is at the high standard of quality and cleanliness that every child deserves.

As we rely on donations to operate, we are not always able to provide uniform with logos on or school-specific items.

Currently we are operating a delivery service for uniform. Either to the school, or directly to a home address. To request a uniform pack, please complete the request form below and we will do our best to fulfil the request if/when we get the correct donations in!

As a celebration of their special day, the children are allowed to wear what they choose to school that day. If their birthday falls at weekend or in the school holidays they can choose a day of their choice. Please do join us in wishing them Happy Birthday if you see them.

From September 24 we will no longer be the main supplier for our school uniform. Our main stockist will be The Uniform & Liesurewear shop on Common Garden Street or via their website. School will only hold minimal stock. You will still be able to order personalised items through school for the foreseeable future.

School runs a pass it on shop which has second hand uniform and other useful items such as winter coats. Any family or member of our local community can donate items. The rails of items are available outside our nursery for families to take items and place a donation in the honesty box if they are in a position to.

At Dolphinholme, we encourage the wearing of school uniform to develop a sense of belonging and pride in our school and we ask parents to support us in this regard. Dolphinholme children are always well presented and we are extremely proud of this aspect of our school life.

Swimming Kit
Trunks or costume (KS2 only). Swimming goggles are not recommended, but may be worn with signed parent permission. Pupils with long hair will be requested to wear a swimming cap.

Jewellery
In the interests of safety, it is a national requirement that children must remove all jewellery and other personal effects before PE lessons, including swimming. The National Curriculum requires all children to participate in PE, and also to understand rules about safety including reasons why jewellery should not be worn.

Any children wearing earrings, including stud earrings, must be able to remove them, as teaches are not permitted to assist. In the light of this advice, may we ask you to cooperate with us by not sending your child to school wearing jewellery, especially items that he or she cannot remove.
