The single entered at the top of the UK Singles Chart, where it remained for two weeks until it was overtaken by "Fireflies" by Owl City. Internationally, the single also topped the charts in Australia, Israel and Switzerland and peaked within the top 10 of the charts in many countries, including Finland, France and the United States. The combined figure of the official music video and prequel video on YouTube is currently over 296+ million views.[citation needed]
The official music video features Iyaz wearing headphones and listening to music on a beach. Other various scenes feature Iyaz singing with a background of the British Virgin Islands' flag,[6] and partying on the beach during the night. The video was directed by Rock Jacobs. A prequel video was also filmed, featuring the full-length beach scenes with Iyaz and his love interest, played by Panamanian model Estelita Quintero.[7]
I also would like to keep comments between versions. I make music for movies and it would be really helpful when changing music on a cue, but keep all other feedback/comments on cues that's not changed
I just realized such important feature, keeping comments viewable between versions, is missing. btw, replay already have a comment export function, but no import? this could have been a work-around, but too bad...
Sad. I am switching back to ftrack.

Rhino Handmade hits rewind on INSTANT REPLAY for a triple-disc DELUXE EDITION packed with rarities, as well as 58 unreleased recordings, backing tracks and a generous selection of stereo and mono mixes for both album and non-album cuts. As a bonus, the set comes with a 45-rpm vinyl single that includes the one-of-a-kind acetate versions of "I Go Ape" and "(I Prithee) Do Not Ask For Love." Arranged by mixes, the first disc is dedicated to stereo and contains a newly remastered and restored transfer of the original album, expanded with 16 other stereo mixes. Among the highlights are nearly all of Nesmith's highly coveted 1968 Nashville sessions. Also included for the first time is the 1968 mix of Dolenz's "Mommy And Daddy," a provocative, socially conscious anti-war song that was rewritten for 1969's The Monkees Present. Devoted entirely to mono, the second disc contains mixes for most of the album tracks, alongside rare and unreleased recordings. While The Monkees' original label Colgems ceased to issue true mono Monkees albums after THE BIRDS, THE BEES & THE MONKEES, most of INSTANT REPLAY's songs were originally mixed in this form, with many making their debut on this collection. The disc is further enhanced by period mono mixes of the never-before-heard backing tracks for "All The Grey Haired Men" (a song recorded for THE BIRDS, THE BEES&THE MONKEES, but never completed) and an early 1969 rendering of Michael Nesmith's "My Share Of The Sidewalk." The final disc takes you into the studio to hear the creative process behind INSTANT REPLAY. Highlights include alternate takes and backing tracks produced by studio whiz Bones Howe, who briefly worked with the group to create music for their television special, 33 1/3 Revolutions Per Monkee, and for the single sides "Someday Man" (written by Paul Williams) and "A Man Without A Dream" (composed by Carole King with Gerry Goffin). The final tapes of Howe's productions for the television special have been lost since 1969, but Rhino Handmade has recovered all that remains of these legendary sessions. Included here are never-before-heard backing tracks for "String For My Kite," "Naked Persimmon" and "Goldie Locks Sometime,"as well as the completed versions from the only surviving video master of the special. Another unique entry in The Monkees reissue series, Rhino Handmade's Deluxe Edition of INSTANT REPLAY is beautifully packaged in an oversize box with mini-LP paper sleeve reproductions of the original cover art and vintage trade ads, rounded out by an in-depth essay by producer and Monkees aficionado Andrew Sandoval.
It should be noted that if you open the Replay link on your iPhone, you'll be redirected to your 2021 Replay playlist in the Music app, which features your 100 most-streamed songs. If you want to view more information, like how long you listened to music for the entire year, you'll have to visit the 2021 Replay website on your desktop.
Your code does not do what you think it does. It starts playing the MP3 but the play() call doesn't wait until the file is played, it immediately returns, playing the music asynchronously. So starting a song and immediately rewinding in the next line of code does not make any sense. If you want the music to play more than once, have a look at the loop argument of pygame.mixer.music.play(). It allows to play the music a given number of times or indefinitely.
December always has us feeling reflective about the past year, and what better way to journey through 2023 than through music? (If you listened to a lot of emo music, you are not alone.) Spotify has made this possible with its Wrapped feature, available yearly at the beginning of December.
Apple Music has its own version of Wrapped, and it's called Replay. It launched in November 2019. The easiest way to access it is simply by typing "Apple Replay" into Google and going to replay.music.apple.com. If you have an Apple ID that you use with your Apple Music subscription, then you'll be able to see your top tracks for the year. It's actually just as cool and comprehensive as Spotify's Wrapped.
The only limit to Apple Replay is that it chronicles the music within its library, so if you add obscure music from your own collection, it may not reflect in Replay. Other than that, it actually affords even a bit more flexibility than Spotify Wrapped, albeit without as many cool colorful graphics accompanying it.
In 2022, we learned that Bad Bunny was (once again) Spotify's most-streamed musician; Taylor Swift was second. That success didn't last long for Bad Bunny as Taylor came in first in 2023; he came in second. The most-streamed song of 2023 on Spotify is "Flowers" by Miley Cyrus.
"Pon de Replay" is a song recorded by Barbadian recording artist Rihanna, from her debut studio album Music of the Sun (2005). It was written and produced by Vada Nobles, Carl Sturken and Evan Rogers. Released on April 15, 2005, the song is her debut single and the lead single from the album. Prior to signing a six album record deal with Def Jam Recordings, "Pon de Replay" was one of three songs which was recorded for her demo tape to be sent to record labels. It is a dance-pop and R&B song. The lyrics revolve around the DJ to play Rihanna's favorite songs and to turn the music up louder.
"Pon de Replay" received positive reviews from music critics, who praised the song's composition and its choice as the singers debut single. The song was a commercial success, and peaked at number one in New Zealand and on the US Billboard Hot Dance Club Songs chart. It peaked at number two on the US Hot 100 chart and UK Singles Chart, whilst it achieved top five positions in Austria, Norway and Switzerland. It was certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America denoting shipments of over 1,000,000 copies. The song's accompanying music video was directed by Little X, and features Rihanna in a club with her friends, who ask the DJ to play their favorite song repeatedly.
