Hi- Trying to compare the Asus ROG Maximus XIII APEX to the Asus ROG Maximus XIII EXTREME. Would someone please the explain key differences/why the APEX exists (what user is targeted?)/why only 2 RAM slots in the APEX? Thanks!

I am having the following probrem. I have two lists (separate Custom Objects). The first list contains a collection of time slots which are created either manually or based on a pre defined pattern. A slot record contains start time (Datetime), end time (Datetime) and a few other fields. The second list contains a collection of bookings. Each booking record contains again start time (Datetime), end time (Date time) and a few other fields. Start time, end time and length of both slots and bookings varies. The list A contains approx 10 000 records and the list B around 7 000 records.

What I would need to get is a combination of these lists so that I would have slots from list A populated in between bookings (list B) where it is possible without overlapping with any booking. I tried looping the lists but ended up with CPU time limit error (System.LimitException: Apex CPU time limit exceeded). Any suggestions?

Benefits: Lists have a native sort function, so you spend less time writing code figuring that part out. Granular time frames are not problematic. No duplicates, final list loads fast.Detractors: Because you're trying to binary search on non-binary-sized data, you have to be careful not to round incorrectly, or you can miss spots in the time line. Also, the size of the array may change with each booking, since a single booking may consume multiple time slots.

You could avoid this entire mess by adding a single lookup field to the slot object; when a booking is created or modified, it would assign itself to that lookup field by trigger for each matching slot. This means you only need two queries, interleave the results, and output them. This assumes that slots will cover unique time periods and that no more than one booking can consume a time slot. More complex scenarios are also possible with some ingenuity (e.g. many-to-many connections to detect conflicting bookings).

I just realized this entire answer kind of fails to emphasis the main point. Don't look for which slots can fit between which bookings. Instead, create a combined list of slots and bookings, and each time a booking covers a slot, remove the slot from the list, and put the booking in its place. This way, you're actually just building the results directly.

The first and most basic aspect of inventory management is understanding how inventory slots work in the game. A single inventory slot can hold a limited inventory of every type of item in the game, be it ammo, meds, consumables, or ordinances (throwables).

To get the basics right, all the information you need is how many inventory slots you have, and what you can hold in them. As such, you'd probably want to know what are the essentials and how many of them you need at each backpack level.

Now that you know how inventory slots and backpacks work, the next thing you need to figure out is your loadout. Apex Legends has a wide range of weapons and weapon types and these play a major role in how you manage your inventory. For instance, if you're used to carrying a full-auto primary with a high burst damage secondary like most players, you'll need at least 3 stacks of your primary ammo and 2 stacks of secondary ammo. The number of meds and ordinances may vary depending on your playstyle. Your ammo stacks depending on the loadout you're running.

We recommend .0015" of clearance between the apex seal and the rotor slot for all applications, boosted or naturally aspirated.

3 mm 13B Goopy Apex Seals are .115" thick, and you should be able to slide a .0015" feeler gauge into the rotor apex slot with a new apex seal.

Our 2 mm apex seals are .075" thick and you should be able to slide a .0015" feeler gauge into the rotor apex slot with a new apex seal in place.

Goopy Performance 13B 2 mm oversized apex seals measure .078" (+/- .001"). If your rotor slot measures .077 - .078", then you may benefit from our oversized 2 mm seals which will allow you to re-gain the .0015 suggested clearance.

If your gap with the seal in place measures .002-.005" it is still usable, but keep in mind that tighter clearances means greater sealing characteristics.

Take note that 13B 3 mm apex seal slots suffer the most when it comes to rotor slots over-tolerance. We have measured many used rotor slots and have found very few that still had the stock widths.

When a component implements slots, the application using it has the flexibility of deciding what information goes into the slots. The component now provides the general layout which other components can use based on their own requirements.

In these scenarios, the parent component is responsible for managing the lifecycle of the content being passed in the slots. This means that the parent component needs to know when the child component registers/unregisters. The process is explained in far more detail in the official Salesforce documentation here.

The main benefit of using slots is the flexibility they provide in terms of composition. We have seen in the previous examples how a simple component can be customized in various ways. A data-driven approach, however, is preferred for complex scenarios where the parent component needs to handle the data flow to the child component.

For the most part, Apex specs out like any other high-end Z690 platform. It's built on the LGA1700 socket and, like other OC-focused boards, has two DIMM slots. With these two slots, we have a maximum capacity of 64GB with speeds ranging from 4800MHz to 7000MHz. Additionally, the Apex offers one of the most robust VRM configurations on Z690 with a 24+1 phase digital setup using 105A smart power stages.

The expansion includes two PCIe x16 slots both on Gen5 lanes, operation at x16 for the top slot alone or x8x8 if both are in use. A third and fourth slot are available operating at x1 and x4, respectively. Storage expansion includes four onboard m.2 slots - the top slots pulling Gen5 lanes from the CPU while the others come from the chipset.

Aesthetically, the Z690 Apex does carry over design elements from the Z590. We have near full board armor that covers everything from the VRM with a large heat pipe solution to the M.2 slots and chipset. This board has two full-length PCIe slots, both shielded, as are the DIMM slots to the right of the CPU.

In the middle of the board are four PCIe slots. There are two full-length reinforced slots and two smaller (x1 and x4) slots. The two primary GPU slots run at x16/x0 or x8/x8. This configuration supports AMD 2-Way CrossfireX and Nvidia 2-Way SLI. The other two slots source bandwidth from the chipset, with the larger slot running at PCIe 3.0 x4 speeds, the smaller PCIe 3.0 x1.

The finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) method was introduced to numerically investigate the surface plasmon-related optical property and performance and to theoretically optimize its structure. A p-polarized plane wave with the wavelength of 632.8 nm was used as the excitation light. It was incident from the glass side on the base of the probe at normal incidence. The probe was composed of a sharp metallic tip and a gold-coated base with a couple of semi-circular slots corrugated on it. Two homocentric semi-circular slots with the same width of 0.10 μm were carved through the 0.12-μm-thick gold film. The thickness of the gold film was much thicker than the skin depth. Hence, the direct incident light was screened out to avoid the immediate exposure of the specimen to the incident light, so that the far-field background can be significantly reduced consequentially. The metallic slots in circular shape performed as a plasmonic launcher to couple the incident light into the propagating SPP waves and a sink to guide the SPP waves to converge toward the center. The radius of the left semi-circular slot was fixed to 1.50 μm and the right one was numerically optimized with parameter sweep. The radius mismatch was introduced to composite the phase difference. A platinum tip with the height of 1.50 μm stood at the center of the semi-circular slots on the gold film. To account for the realistic processing capacity, the tip was composed of a set of platinic pies of decreasing size stacked one on top of another resembling a cone. The diameter at the bottom of the tip was 0.80 and 0.25 μm at the apex.
