Procore's meetings solution is leveraged for tracking critical tasks and ensuring alignment within the team. Many of these meetings happen in person; however, many of them need to include collaborators who are working in remote offices. Procore has enabled a seamless integration with GoToMeeting to ensure that all stakeholders can be connected, no matter where they are or what device they are using.

but that fires up a browser window which then has to be closed - it would be cleaner to just call g2mstart.exe with a command line argument to join meeting 123456789. I've tried guessing at the syntax to join a specific meeting but haven't found it, and haven't found a guide to command-line switches anywhere online. Clearly g2mstart.exe takes arguments - the standard shortcut looks like this:

Similar to what Marco Valtas said you can simply create a shortcut on the desktop (or anywhere else) with the URI gotomeeting://SALaunch?Action=Join&MeetingID=123456789 this works great for me on Windows. No browser or anything, straight into the meeting.

GoToMeeting participants can download the full-feature desktop software on a Windows or Mac computer to take advantage of all our great collaboration tools including shared keyboard/mouse, drawing tools, and more. Participants can also choose to join meetings from the Web App, our browser-based version that does not require any downloads, or from our GoToMeeting mobile app. Check below for a list of our system requirements or to run your system's compatibility automatically.

so currently we are trying to run GoToMeeting for Home Office purposes.
Problem here is, despite nearly everything working fine, the Webcam seems to be disabled every time we try to join a meeting.

Am having the best time using GoTo Meeting as it has never failed. It made it easy for us to have very interactive and successful online meetings both within the organization among employees as well as with clients and other stakeholders to offer them the necessary updates. It is easy to use and always give our communications the security and privacy that we need.

The ease of use of GoTo Meeting made it easy for ys to introduce it in our organization as a communication platform and even our customers found it easy to adopt to it. First, the audio plus the video qualities are one that caught our eyes as we were assured of smooth and clear communication experience. The meeting recording tool is very helpful especially for those unable to join the meetings as they can easily get to follow through later.

GoTo Meeting's main functionality: Letting organizations run virtual video meetings. Participants can join with video or just with audio, from desktop or mobile devices alike.

When you need to document a meeting, hit the record button to save the video and audio from that meeting. You can pick the file location of the saved video from your preferences page. GoTo Meeting's AI program, Smart Meeting Assistant, will create an easily searchable transcription of the meeting as well.

The need for a video meeting doesn't mean all participants need to sit at their desktop for the entire conference. The free GoTo Meeting app can be downloaded for iOS, Android and Windows Phone, and lets any participants join with full functionality from their mobile device.

The Office 365 plugin is a popular option, letting operations that run on Microsoft's wares quickly schedule, manage, and join video meetings without leaving their calendar. A Google Calendar plugin does the same for businesses that have opted for G-Suite rather than Office 365, and a Salesforce integration lets organizers and participants jump into meetings from their Salesforce interface.

To join, participants can click a directly-shared link, or click their calendar invitation link at the desired time to be directly sent to the video meeting. Is GoTo Meeting safe to use? Yes, GoTo Meeting is about as safe as video conferencing software gets! While your data will still be sent across the internet, it will be encrypted first, and it'll be saved in GoTo Meeting's SOC2-certified data centers.

Connect a GoTo Meeting account to Appointlet and all scheduled video conferences will be assigned a unique meeting room ID. Attendees pick a time and receive an automated email confirmation with a join meeting link that takes them to that unique room. This helps to prevent attendees from accidentally interrupting an existing call.

With end-to-end encryption and password protection, it ensures only authorized participants can join the meeting. And its ability to host large-scale meetings with up to 250 participants makes it ideal for webinars, virtual conferences, or large team or company meetings.

Switchboard is designed for remote and hybrid companies (up to 50 people) who want the feeling of working together in the same room. It's a great option for teams who need a dedicated, interactive space for meetings and projects.

Note: Once you have a unique meeting ID, be sure only to share the conferencing information with authorized participants. Many make the mistake of including a joining link on publicly available posters or websites. This increases the risk of an insecure meeting.

You can host meetings anywhere with GoTo Meeting. All a host needs is an internet connection that has decent quality. This makes it simple to join discussions because you just need a link to join, similar to Zoom meetings.

After that, you will have options to start an instant meeting, a one-time rooms meeting, start your own personal meeting room, join a discussion, view past meeting recordings or stats, copy a meeting invite to send it to others, edit or delete meetings, search for users, add a meeting to the calendar and more.

Additionally, if your business has already outgrown entry-level video conferencing tools and requires a more complex alternative, GoToMeeting is equipped for more advanced clients. Compatible with both PCs and iOS devices alike - and with mobile apps for iPhones and Androids - GoToMeeting is serious about user flexibility by allowing users to create or join an online meeting anytime, anywhere.

GoToMeeting is preferred by many businesses for its user-friendly interface. From this interface, the user can simply start or join a meeting by providing prospective participants with a unique URL-as-password to enter the online conference room. This simplicity is second only to GoToMeeting's versatility. For the business owner on the go or the remote worker who joins meetings from home, being able to join meetings from anywhere - and with any device - is a leg up in the field.

Setting up a video conference right from your browser or joining one from the mobile app has never been easier. All you need is access to a webcam, microphone, headphones, and a stable Wifi system for clear audio and visual.

For example, you want to set the join.me executable file security level unrestricted using the certificate rule. You don't need to manually extract the certificate from the executable file (step 1 & 2 from the previous explanation). When browsing for the certificate :

But, recently I've had users trying to join webinars and GoToMeeting insists on installing again. Perhaps because the meeting organizer is using a slightly different version? I'm not quite sure, but the user would get prompted to run GoTo Opener.exe which would run fine using the cert rules I previously established, but when it tried to launch G2Minstaller.exe from the user's AppData profile, it would crash. G2Minstaller.exe runs, the problem is it could not load the DLLs it needed (I have SRP restricting DLLs as well). I was getting the same error in my original post about 0x0000361. I checked all the files that were in the Gotomeeting folder in the user's profile and they were all digitally signed with the same certificate that I used for my cert rule.

I ran into similar issues with Join.me but with regards to the DLLs it uses (I didn't care about the batch files because as far as I can tell they are just used to delete temp files after a meeting finishes and didn't seem to stop the program from running). I would tackle this like I tackled the DLLs, with a wildcard path rule. For example, one of my path rules for join.me looks like: %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Temp\joi*\QtQuick*\*\*.dll

You can also join via a tablet or smartphone by downloading and using the GoToMeeting mobile app for iOS or Android. Then, you can just open the app and enter the Meeting ID number to join the meeting.
