Hail Citizens of the Performance List Group!

Be aware of the free Figment festival on Governors Island this
weekend, featuring yours truly, RADIO WONDERLAND, offering steering
wheel-and-shoe-controlled computer processing of live commercial audio
media.

I'm scheduled for the Parade Grounds Stage at NOON, Saturday June
9th.

Figment might be the closest thing NYC has--or can have--to the famous
Burning Man gathering. Burners abound at Figment, except they're
(usually) fully dressed, and everyone has to clear the island by 6pm.

Come early for RADIO WONDERLAND, kicking off at noon on the Parade
Grounds Stage.

Stay for Figment's unusual attractions, such as...

-The annual all-art mini-golf course
-A number of audience-generated music and visual installations
-A kite-making workshop
-Various remote-controlled flying objects such as the flying banana
-High-tech slow-motion photography of you being tickled
-Several installations and performances which promise a meditative
state of consciousness
-Participatory reenactment of who you might have been in Governors
Island's long historic past
-And if you're looking for more electronic dance music, it won't take
long to find it--and a roving ensemble might just find you. Special
shout-outs to Warper's 10+ different acts and the Tsunami Bass
Experience.

Not only is Figment free, it is fiercely non-commercial. No corporate
banners to ring the stage. No ads. No T-shirts for sale. "We will not
substitute consumption for experience."

Figment is non-profit.

Figment is cool.
