Hi Team,

I ran few scenarios scripts in both webload v5.0 and webload v8.6, when i see the response time, its  ~ 80%- 90%  more in v8.6 when compared to v5.0 i.e., in v5.0 if the responce time is 120 sec, in v8.6 its 230 sec.

Why is this variation? Is there is any solution for this..

Thanks in advance for your help

Hi Mano,

Response in the Webload should not be taken from standard Webload console. You have to use probing client to measure the response time in Webload. Refer documentation or contact Radview support for information.

Thanks,
Thiru

Hi Thiru,

Thanks for your resonse, I have functions in my scripts to check the
responce time, i calculate the response time by subtracting the time
taken after the wlHttp.Postt with the time recorded before the post.
Based on this responce time i see the difference.

Thanks,
Manu

Actually you should be using BeginTransaction and EndTransaction function measure response time. This method is also fine, but not advised. Why reinvent wheel if you already have one?

As said previously, irrespective of any method you use in Webload Console, you can't expect correct response time. The way browser threading works and the way Webload thread works are entirely wrong. You have to rely only on probing client to measure the response time.

Thanks,
Thiru
