Job Description:

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution.
• Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 11 years of Information Technology experience
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell, PowerShell).
• Hands-on experience with automation tools (e.g., Terraform, Selenium, Jenkins, Ansible, Puppet).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Strong understanding of DevOps methodologies, Git workflows and CI/CD practices.
• Comfortable working in RHEL9 environments.
• Certifications in DevOps, cloud technologies, or automation tools.
• Experience with Git and version control systems.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Hands-on in terms of technology
• Understand processes and quality aspects.
• Understand the customer requirements and suggest feasible technology options available.
• Good understanding of general datacenter and network technologies.
• Working knowledge of one of more areas of Datacenter operations – Compute, Virtualization, Storage, Network, Backup, Database, Middleware, AD/IAM, Tools, Application operations.
  
  

Areas of Responsibility:

• Develop and maintain automation scripts and frameworks for software testing, deployment, and infrastructure provisioning.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, PowerCLI, vSphere API, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
• Automate cloud infrastructure using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Python / Bash, or AWS CloudFormation.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to identify automation opportunities and improve workflows.
• Monitor automated systems and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and performance.
• Maintain documentation for automation processes, configurations, and best practices.
• Ensure automation solutions comply with security and compliance standards.

• Hands-on experience in working in Global Delivery Model with onsite/offshore resources
• Exceptional Organizational Skills
• Ability to manage and prioritize tasks efficiently
• Readiness to demonstrate a proactive attitude
• Solid attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills are required
• Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment
• Terraform – infrastructure as code (IAC) for provisioning VMs, networks, etc.
• Ansible – configuration management and post-provisioning automation.
• Git – version control for IAC and config code.
• Jenkins / GitLab CI – CI/CD for automated pipeline execution.
• Packer – for building VM images (golden images).
• PowerCLI / vSphere API – for VMware-specific automation.
• Python / Bash scripting – for custom scripts and task automation.

 

Ideal Engineer Background:

• Strong knowledge of VMware vSphere / ESXi / VCF.
• Experience with IAC tools like Terraform and config tools like Ansible.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices (CI/CD, Git workflows).
• Comfortable working in Rhel9 and Windows2022 environments.
