This is an updated planning for those continuing and finishing this
project with us. I appreciate very much all you hard work you have
been putting so far. The deadline for the first part of the project is
this Saturday. See all details below:


Puerto Rican and Cuban Festival
Performance Project
Saturday, October 23, 2010
Tranquility Park, Downtown Houston
Project's important dates: tech rehearsal Saturday sep 25th, and Oct
25, 2010, the show


Description:
The idea behind this project is to pay tribute to the history and
origins of Salsa music and salsa dancing. We will be showcasing all
dance styles that have contributed to the fusion of today’s Salsa
music and dancing.


Commitment:
You will be required to attend ALL practices for now on otherwise you
will have to drop the project.
Sorry for any inconvenience but it takes a lot of work, fairness and
respect to all in order to make it possible.


Costume Cost: To be Announced at our next meeting


Days and Time- Sundays from 12 p.m.-2:15 p.m. (See detail times} until
the week of the festival Oct 25
according to each routine)

1:40- 2:15pm Location-UH=PGH LOBBY

LOCATION:
I had more reservations done for our last location but I do not want
to take the risk of anyone else getting hurt on that carpet
so I will cancel them for that location and have all the remaining
practices at the lobby of the PGH building in which we usually meet on
Sunday Mormings..
