Ihave a new Nexus 5X that says "Manual sign in required" because the QR code scanner is not available. I've verified my Google Play Services version is up-to-date (9.0.83), and I've reinstalled 1Password from the play store a couple of times. Hasn't been an issue on my other devices running the same versions of services and 1P (Nexus 6P, Samsung GS7).
I'll also pass your feedback along to the developers regarding a 1Password accounts only mode that doesn't require a local vault. It is indeed on the radar, but it doesn't hurt to bump us every now and then.
Agile developers: In other words, if 1P has already been set up with a non-Account vault, then when it eventually needs the camera for the first time it doesn't request camera permissions, and mistakes the denied camera access for a Play Services issue.
What do I do now? I tried tapping on the Scan the barcode bar at the top. That did not seem to do anything, nut maybe I needed to press and hold. But no, that didn't work either. This is obviously very basic Android stuff that I have yet to learn.
@danco Once the QR code is recognized, scanning should be automatic. You don't need to do anything else. That said, what are you scanning from? Are you using the rear-facing camera and scanning from your Emergency Kit on another device or on paper, or are you scanning from the Android screen? If you uninstall/reinstall 1Password on Android, are you able to scan after?
I was about to follow @cjmac's excellent instructions when on a lark I tried re-launching 1Password and attempting to scan again - this time it worked beautifully. Only (odd?) thing is it didn't prompt for camera permissions, which I thought Android would enforce? I'm running 7.1.1 with the Jan 5 security patch.
@EnerJi Very interesting indeed! The Camera permission is strictly enforced by the Android OS, so an app like 1Password cannot access your device's camera unless the permission was granted. Is it possible that you might have accepted the Camera permission for 1Password previously? You can check the current app permissions by going into the Settings app, and tapping on Apps > 1Password > Permissions. Let me know if the Camera permission is enabled there.
Service Fusion supports barcode scanning! Users can utilize USB barcode scanners plugged into their computers (PC or Mac) to add barcodes to new or existing products and services. Barcode scanning can facilitate creating estimates and jobs, or purchase and inventory orders, especially in situations where users may not be sure of the part number or exact product/service name. The Worker App users are able to use their camera within the Service Fusion Application as a barcode scanner as well.
When adding a product or service to an estimate or job, users will be familiar with the procedure of typing in part of the product or service name, description, part number, etc and Service Fusion searching the catalogs and returning any matches on what was searched. This has been enhanced to include the SKU, UPC, and Code fields. Typing in a SKU, UPC, or Code will add the product or service if there is just one match, or will present the familiar drop down list to select from if there are multiple matches.
Additionally, instead of typing in the product or service name, description, part number, UPC, SKU, or code, users can scan the barcode using the USB scanner plugged into their computer. Scanning a code multiple times will add the item to the estimate, job, purchase/inventory order multiple times. (A future enhancement is planned to have the item present one time and to change the quantity of that single item.)
This functionality is extended to Purchase Orders and Inventory Orders. When adding a product with a barcode to a Purchase or Inventory Order, the user can either manually type in the UPC or SKU or use the barcode scanner plugged into their computer.

Scanning ServicesGetting paper into digitized format is the first step in setting up a document database. Novitas has the resources to scan immense amounts of paper at competitive prices; we commonly handle engagements with over 1,000,000 hard copy documents.
Litigation Indexing/Coding & UnitizationNovitas offers a host of document indexing and coding services, and can help you determine which option best suits the matter at hand. For some projects, the savings inherent in global coding make the most sense. Unlike most service bureaus, Novitas operatesits own international coding service. Each project is overseen by a Novitas project manager, enabling us to maintain high quality while offering global prices.
I have installed implementation 'com.google.android.gms:play-services-code-scanner:16.1.0' as specify this documentation -kit/vision/barcode-scanning/code-scanner. At first it work perfect but suddenly it stoped to work anymore. The problem is in execution time. Instead to open the camera to scan the barcode it raise a failure than I can catch with addOnFailureListener. In the Logcat I can see this error:

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) has authorized a screening benefit for lung cancer using low dose computed tomography (LDCT) scanning. There are two CPT/HCPCS codes associated with this benefit: G0296 for the initial visit and 71271 for the scan and subsequent intervention. The descriptions for these codes are:

Articles are a type of document published by the Medicare Administrative Contractors (MACs). Articles often contain coding or other guidelines and may or may not be in support of a Local Coverage Determination (LCD).
For the most part, codes are no longer included in the LCD (policy). You will find them in the Billing & Coding Articles. Try using the MCD Search to find what you're looking for. Enter the code you're looking for in the "Enter keyword, code, or document ID" box. The list of results will include documents which contain the code you entered.
Please Note: For Durable Medical Equipment (DME) MACs only, CPT/HCPCS codes remain located in LCDs. All other Codes (ICD-10, Bill Type, and Revenue) have moved to Articles for DME MACs, as they have for the other Local Coverage MAC types.
NCDs do not contain claims processing information like diagnosis or procedure codes nor do they give instructions to the provider on how to bill Medicare for the service or item. For this supplementary claims processing information we rely on other CMS publications, namely Change Requests (CR) Transmittals and inclusions in the Medicare Fee-For-Service Claims Processing Manual (CPM).
In order for CMS to change billing and claims processing systems to accommodate the coverage conditions within the NCD, we instruct contractors and system maintainers to modify the claims processing systems at the national or local level through CR Transmittals. CRs are not policy, rather CRs are used to relay instructions regarding the edits of the various claims processing systems in very descriptive, technical language usually employing the codes or code combinations likely to be encountered with claims subject to the policy in question. As clinical or administrative codes change or system or policy requirements dictate, CR instructions are updated to ensure the systems are applying the most appropriate claims processing instructions applicable to the policy.
Enter the CPT/HCPCS code in the MCD Search and select your state from the drop down. (You may have to accept the AMA License Agreement.) Look for a Billing and Coding Article in the results and open it. (Or, for DME MACs only, look for an LCD.) Review the article, in particular the Coding Information section.
If you need more information on coverage, contact the Medicare Administrative Contractor (MAC) who published the document. The contractor information can be found at the top of the document in the Contractor Information section (expand the section to see the details).
2) Try using the MCD Search and enter your information in the "Enter keyword, code, or document ID" box. Your information could include a keyword or topic you're interested in; a Local Coverage Determination (LCD) policy or Article ID; or a CPT/HCPCS procedure/billing code or an ICD-10-CM diagnosis code. Try entering any of this type of information provided in your denial letter.
The language service is designed to achieve quick responses that scale with the size of the program. The only way this can be achieved is by only doing the absolute minimum work required. All language service interfaces only compute the necessary level of information needed to answer a query.
For instance, a call to getSyntacticDiagnostics will only need the file in question to be parsed, but neither binding nor type checking will be performed in the process. A call getCompletionsAtPosition will only attempt to resolve declarations contributing to the type in question, but not others.
