Position: Senior Java/J2EE Developer

Location: Charlotte, NC

Duration: 6+ Months

C2C: $48/hr (MaX)

 

Must have very good communication skills!!

 

 

This position is to help build a Global Payments Solution on one single cloud, as opposed to having it on multiple.  This will allow the users, various groups within the Wholesale to utilize one singular Global Payments application. 

 

Minimum Qualifications - Must have:

 

•                  4+ years of strong experience using Core Java, JUNIT, Log4J and J2EE development.

•                  3+ years of strong experience with development using Spring MVC framework and core IOC, AOP strategies and transaction management.

•                  4+ years of strong experience with object-oriented programming in JavaScript. Experience using debugging tools like Firebug, Internet Explorer Developer Toolbar is a huge plus.

•                  Experience and/or knowledge of YUI (Yahoo User Interface)

•                  Experience with web services SOAP and RESTful

•                  Experience with XML , SAX/DOM parsers

•                  Strong Experience using AJAX, JSON, JSP and CSS

•                  Experience using Hibernate and writing SQL, Stored Procedures, Triggers and Functions for Oracle.  JNDI/LDAP/JDBC base knowledge needed.

•                  Experience working on Web/Application BEA Weblogic server. Tomcat is a plus

•                  Proficiency with DAO, JTL, JMS development.

•                  Proficiency with HTML and CSS and how to integrate in a standards-based fashion with each other and JavaScript. HTML5 and CSS3 experience is a big plus.

•                  Proficiency with the DOM and asynchronous event-programming model.

•                  Proficiency in building UI pages applying techniques and solutions for secure pages, cross site scripting resolutions and fraud/hacking prevention techniques

•                  Strong experience with methodologies including Design patterns, MVC architecture, UML, OOA/OOD.

•                  Experience with cross-platform (PC/Mac, desktop, laptop, tablet) and cross-browser (IE, Firefox, Chrome, Safari) development. Mobile development experience is a strong plus.

•                  Proficiency using  SVN , TOAD, Eclipse, Mercury Quality Center, ANT,

•                  Candidate should understand the full software development lifecycle.

•                  Strong team player with a great personality who is ready to take on challenges, integrate well with a team, task oriented, self motivated and has good communication skills.

 

Additional Technical Plus: Nice to Have:

 

•                  Knowledge of WCAG / ADA( Web Accessibility Standards)

•                  Knowledge of/using Apache POI / iText

•                  Profiling tools like JProbe/ JRMC/ Fortify

•                  Caching mechanisms like: JCACHE/Coherence

•                  DROOLS - Business Rules Engine

•                  Actuate / Crystal Report Server knowledge/experience is a great plus

•                  Unix/Linux shell scripting

•                  HTML Validator’s (with SGML Parser/HTML Tidy parser options) for different browsers.

•                  Knowledge in Accounts Payable/ Receivables, Wires Processing, ACH processing, FX transactions is a nice plus.
