This position works with a team of developers (specializing in Java and COBOL) to build brand new JMS, Web Services and Web Applications using Java, Spring, and IceFaces/JSF. These new java applications will interface with legacy systems.

 

1. 5+ years JAVA J2EE dev experience

2. 5+ years DB2 experience

3. 3 + years Spring/Icefaces/JSF development experience (JSF worked perfectly before)

 

Tool Set: a. Object-oriented design b. Strong Java skills c. J2EE platform d. JMS, MDBs, web services, and Java batch processing e. XML, XSD, XSLT, SOAP Web Services f. Relational Database g. Eclipse IDE h. JUnit i. Spring (a plus) Work Products/Job Description: Activities: • Responsibilities in the development life cycle include:Resources will be asked to communicate ideas and designs. • Resources will be required to document all aspects of the project. • Design, develop and test jms applications using Java and Spring Framework Create unit test case scenarios using JUnit • Create database (DB2, Oracle) connection pools and configure using weblogic 10.x servers. • Design, Develop, and test IceFaces/JSF web applications as needed.
