Websphere Commerce Consultant
Location – Cincinnati, OH
Duration – 6 months
Position Description:
This position will provide the expertise and technical knowledge in Websphere Commerce to translate business requirements and enterprise strategy into a working solution by providing detailed designs and detailed step by step instructions on how to implement and manage multiple stores running on the Websphere Commerce software. This does involve customizations and integrations with internal and external services. An extensive knowledge of the product including but not limited to the data model and the relationships between tables and fields is required. Prior development experience is also needed, including source code control and the use of wcbd. BODL and knowledge of mass data loading and data transformations is preferred.
Requirements:
· Experience with Websphere Commerce version 7
· Understanding of Site and Store level architecture, this includes strategies to manage large numbers of e-sites
· Awareness of Commerce Data Model
· Understanding of Master and Store Catalogs
· Detailed experience with managing Catalogs with large numbers of Product Attributes
· Data migration procedures as it relates to Commerce and customizations
· Familiarity of customizations stored in WebSphereCommerceServerExtensionsLogic.jar
· Understanding of Commerce Cache functionality and how to translate business requirements into a detailed implementable plan with steps on modifications to the Commerce instance
Knowledge of customized user authentication and integration with other web sites and services
