Well, Craftedge is your tech support for Scalp. I don't use Scalp and not too many people on here do. Craftedge has it's own forum for their software. I don't know of any person on here who uses a Desay Master vinyl cutter either. I gave you the link for Signblazer, which does have the Desay Master driver in it. That is all I can offer. Maybe someone else might have a solution. Your welcome.
Does Signblazer have the driver, or just have it in a list. Drivers and cutting software are typically independent of each other. Your best bet is to contact Master and ask for the driver for your model.
I am not sure if Master is even in business anymore. That website has a Thanksgiving schedule on it. and the copyright of the website is 2016. Even on this website, they don't sell Desay Master vinyl cutters. Only name brand, GCC, Graphtec and Mimiki. Master is there, but nothing there.
Just searching on Google, it looks like everyone is looking for the driver for that Desay Master vinyl cutter. It appears to be mostly questions around 2007. I am thinking that cutter is about 10 years old or older.
This cable usually need works with our USB adaptor (model: M-usb8) if you computer do not have a serial port.
Important Note:
Master vinyl cutter uses its own serial cable (special pin mapping). Many of the standard serial cable sold by third party doesn't work with master Vinyl Cutter.

I think there are people, like me, who enjoy Tommy and picked up the KG mastering. It would be nice to read comparisons to the 2022 master. I don't want to invest in another version if it doesn't better it by a good margin.
If you watch "Lambert & Stamp," the 2014 documentary about the Who (well worth one's time, btw), it says that Kit Lambert destroyed the original master tapes once he had the vinyl in hand. (Why he did this isn't clear. It seems like it was some sort of theatrical flourish.)
I have been seeing that less-than-exciting Abbey Road logo everywhere, especially on disks (like a Police compilation) at certain big box discount retailers. So I thought it was just hype. But this review (and the one of "Who Sell Out") have me wondering what I've been missing! Fortunately I have clean UK copies of those two and Who's Next (and a nice US Police GH), but I think it's medically impossible to find a clean "Quadrophenia" or "Meaty Beaty..." in the U.S. Fingers crossed that those get the treatment next. And while we're talking about Abbey Road, WHY won't they do a nice re-cut of the Beatles catalog?! The tapes, the equipment -- it's all right there! I feel like Tony Lo Bianco in "French Connection"... WE CAN MAKE THE SWITCH IN AN HOUR. They showed it was possible with the mono box. Why not re-cut the monos through the White Album, add "Mono Masters," and then Let It Be and Abbey Road? I'd even be fine if Mono Masters got a fourth disk for the three stereo-only cuts that were missing, and maybe they could add the 9 songs from the mid-90s EPs? And then they could re-cut Anthology... and the Decca Sessions album... and let Peter Jackson have a crack at the Star Club tapes... and then a deluxe half-speed of "Ringo the Fourth" ;)

When someone says Tommy and Dark Side are "overvalued", that tells me they just don't appreciate rock music that stretched the boundaries of the form in the late '60s into the '70s and their opinions on the subject are essentially worthless.
