If a driver was not automatically selected when Adding the Printer, then did you try to click on the drop down list box to see if a driver can be manually selected for this printer? Choose Air Print if available, otherwise you will need to look for a P-Touch driver within the list of printers. The information Brother provided in your link seems to imply there is some sort of driver available for your label printer already built into macOS, so there is no need to download a driver separately (the items available on the Brother site are for a special editing app, and an app to update the firmware of your label printer). An Air Print driver would be the best first choice, followed by CUPS or Gutenprint.
