DrWang completed epilepsy fellowship at the Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD after finishing his residency at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, DC. Alis grew up in Westchester, New York and attended Boston College, earning undergraduate degrees in biology and English literature. While in medical school at New York Medical College, he developed clinical and research interests in cerebrovascular disease. Alis plans to pursue fellowship training in vascular neurology/stroke and neurointervention. In his free time, he watches New York Jets football and enjoys exercising at the gym or outdoors.
Brittany grew up in Westchester County, NY. She attended Tulane University where she studied Neuroscience for her Undergraduate and first Master's degree. She briefly returned to NYC where she worked as a clinical researcher at Memorial Sloan Kettering, before being called back to New Orleans where she pursued a combined MD/MBA program at Tulane University School of Medicine and the Freeman School of Business. Brittany is interested in neuroimmunology, autoimmune encephalitis, headache, epilepsy, and mentorship in medical education. Outside of work, Brittany enjoys spending time with her pup, Ava, eating out at restaurants, and exploring NYC.
Erin was born in Texas, grew up in Virginia, and moved to NYC for college. She has stayed in the city ever since, completing an MD/PhD in Neuroscience at NYU, during which she investigated neuroplasticity in cochlear implant outcomes. She plans to continue research in neuroplasticity and is interested in stroke and neuro ICU for fellowship. Outside of medicine, she enjoys cooking, trying new restaurants, and spending time with her friends, family, and dog.
Jennifer grew up in Pennsylvania and Florida, coming north to attend Swarthmore College and the University of Rochester. During medical school, she taught in a neuroscience pipeline program and did research on noninvasive brain stimulation, later going to Poland to teach medical students about neurology. She is considering general neurology, neurorehabilitation, and headache medicine. She is also interested in medical education and women and minority health. She is very excited to be in NYC and likes playing tennis, drawing, cafes, and cats!
Anne was born in Germany and grew up in Rhode Island. After studying chemical engineering and German at the University of Rhode Island, she attended the University of Connecticut for medical school. Her interests include general neurology, behavioral neurology, and education. In her free time, she enjoys running, hiking, skiing and exploring new spots in the city.
Daniel was born in Rhode Island, attended Tufts University for undergraduate and Brown University for medical school. His neurology interests include cognitive and neuromuscular disorders. In his free time, he enjoys running, tennis, traveling and walking along the East River with his chocolate lab.
Paulina was born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico. She attended George Washington University in D.C., where she obtained her bachelor's in psychology and a subsequent master's degree in forensic psychology. She moved back to Puerto Rico to attend medical school and was actively involved in multiple sclerosis research. Her interests in neurology include multiple sclerosis, headache, and research on health disparities. In her free time, Paulina enjoys exploring restaurants in NYC, traveling, and practicing French.
Clinton was born and raised in Nigeria. He moved to the United States and settled in New York where he completed high school, college, and medical school. Clinton is passionate about mentoring and increasing representation in medicine. His interest in neurology includes stroke, neurocritical care, and interventional neurology. Outside of medicine, Clinton enjoys staying active. He plays multiple sports including basketball and soccer. He also loves spending time with family and friends.
Kara grew up just outside of Denver, Colorado where she enjoyed the abundant hiking and amazing weather. She moved out east to complete her undergraduate degree in neuroscience at Dartmouth College in the Upper Valley of New Hampshire. She stayed in New England after graduation to work on neuroscience research at Massachusetts General Hospital. She then traveled to the Midwest to attend medical school at the University of Cincinnati where she also obtained a Master's in Physiology. Kara has broad interests within the field of neurology though has always had a special appreciation for movement disorders and electrophysiology. She makes wonderful chocolate chip cookies and is always looking to try a new neighborhood restaurant.
Will grew up in North Carolina and attended UNC-Chapel Hill for college. Then he attended medical school at the Medical University of South Carolina, where he discovered a love of all things neurology. When he's not pursuing his neurology interests, including stroke, neurocritical care, and neuromuscular disease, you can find him spending time with friends, honing his cooking skills, training for his next marathon, or visiting one of the many museums and cultural institutions that NYC has to offer.
Evan is originally from NYC and is so excited to be back! He went to undergrad at Northwestern before completing his DO/MPH dual degree at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and Jefferson respectively. He loves teaching and mentoring and hopes to make it an integral part of his practice. His professional interests include movement disorders, stroke, quality improvement and health equity. In his free time, he enjoys collaborative board games, sports analytics and watching scary movies with friends.
Heather grew up in Michigan and went to college at the University of Michigan and medical school at Michigan State University- The College of Human Medicine. She is undecided in her specialty, but her neurology interests include vascular, critical care, headache, and medical education. During her free time, she enjoys being with her family and friends, baking desserts, watching movies, and hiking.
Jenny was born and raised in North Carolina but now calls the New Jersey and Philadelphia area home. She attended Penn for college then medical school at Albert Einstein in the Bronx. In neurology, her interests are broad but currently she is interested in stroke and headache. In her free time, she enjoys trying new restaurants, baking, hiking, and taking walks.
Shreyas grew up in the SF Bay Area. He went to undergrad at Duke University and attended medical school at Northwestern University in Chicago. His interests in neurology are in stroke and epilepsy. During his free time, he loves going for runs and bike rides by the river and through Central Park. He also loves exploring new restaurants in the city.
