OK I'm having problem with my wireless adapter. The symptoms seem to be a little inconsistent so before I give too much detail I'll give you the short version first. When the computer first boots it ether doesn't find any wireless signals or can't connect going into an endless cycle of acquiring a network address of witch it never finds. If you boot up with an Ethernet cable connected it all seems ok and will connect to wireless just fine. If you unplug the data cable it will continue to have connectivity for some time until it drops for no apparent reason, or you reboot without the data cable attached. I've tried two or three different drivers. Two of them are Intel Pro/Wireless 2200 BG Network Connection Version 9.0.4.8 Date 1-17-2006, and Version 9.0.4.39 Date 12-19-2007. I have been told a driver from Intel Version 9.0.4.37 Date 7-25-2007 will work but I can't find it in the Intel site. I need to know if you have a download link for that driver? I don't know if this is a hardware or software problem but I also need to know what driver should work with this laptop? I have more information about error messages from the event viewer and some services that don't startup, but for now this is my system info.

I have been in contact with someone at the Lenovo community, and they tell me they have a Thinkpad x32 with the most current driver 9.0.4.39. I don't know what router they have but it works just fine. I have figured something out. If I disable the security on the router everything functions normal. I have setup a guest account with WEP security and it continues to malfunction never acquiring a network address. I know the Intel card is a legacy device but with the router security set for WEP shouldn't the router be backward compatible. I also booted the laptop with a live Ubuntu CD and the wireless card functions normal. This indicates to me that this is not a hardware problem. I have overlooked your last post and didn't find anything that helped. Do you know of any compatibility issues with this device and a Wireless N router?

We are not aware of any particular compatibility issues. However, all routers behave differently and we have seen cases in which using certain authentication methods or configurations may not work well.

After I put cable in computer, I've run scanning for new devices without any results, so I added manually printer using local port (virtual usb port 001). When I am asked for drivers, I select Windows Update button and I choose HP Universal Printing PCL6 (I also have option with PCL 6, version 6.4.1). After I finish installation I press button for test page and it only showes me some error.

It looks like everything is set up to work.

We know the printer is working because it works with other PCs. So we must be having a driver issue on your Win 10 Machine.

Why don't we try deleting the temp folder for your printer and see if we have an issue with multiple drivers.

I recent upgraded from XP to Windows 10 pro. I have the same problem, and have tried all the steps listed. Have (manually - because Windows does not "see" this printer) installed, deleted, re-installed the printer numerous times. All to no avail. The printer still works perfectly when connected to my laptop (running XP), but on Windows 10 I get to the "print a test page" & nothing happens. If I try printing from any prog (say Excel) and then I check the printer queue it shows an error - but gives no more details. Ineed to use Windows 10 in order to access the Company's online banking portal - otherwise I'd junk Windows 10 in an instant & go back to XP.

Thanks. I'm not technically inclined. Did a google search on this problem and your post was in the first three hits. I read the post a few days ago and didn't quite grasp the concept (though a few days ago I was having problems just getting the print drivers installed). After reading some other forums and getting the drivers installed, your DOT4 comment guided me to getting the printer up & running.

Sorry, off the top of my head I don't remember most of the specific steps. Google for a driver and downloaded it. Installed driver. Then went into properties for that printer as Mendac stated and changed the port to DOT4.

I'm currently running Windows XP Home SP3 and Crunchbang Linux 10 on my Acer Travelmate 4502Lmi laptop, and they run well, but I also want to try Windows 98 on here, mainly for purposes of experimentation.

What I am wondering is if I can find working win98 wireless drivers for this thing, specifically for an Intel PRO/Wireless 2200 card. I've tried googling it, but I've gotten nothing but junk results so far. If anyone can find a working driver, even if it's for a slightly different model or something, I would be extremely grateful. Thanks jaclaz, thats what I was trying to say. As I said before, the card is a G device with B compatibility. Those older drivers will not worked. I have tried them all. If you want to continue looking thats fine, but posting links to drivers that don't work is a waste of time.

There are NO Win98 drivers for this specific Intel PRO Wireless 2200BG card. Every piece of hardware I own, I have the latest driver for. Sometimes a person's word is all thats needed especially if they have done all the work for you.

I would rephrase that in a less "absolute" meaning, nonetheless, those drivers may exist but be not publically available, as well the same could happen for other drivers, more recent than the ones you have ...

After updating my desktop to Windows 11, the analysis software won't open. Upon clicking, the booting window comes up but after around 10 seconds it closes and nothing else happens. I've tried opening the program in Windows Compatibility Mode (so that it will run as if it's an earlier version of Windows) and tried uninstalling/installing but it's the same!

The highest SW version 2200 TapeStation instrument is validated to work with is A.02.02 SR1. SW version A.02.02 SR1 has been tested in house to run on Windows 7 or Windows 10 operating systems. Therefore, we cannot guarantee optimal SW performance if SW version and operating system are not compatible or not validated for 2200 TapeStation. However, if you must, at your discretion, one more time, you may try to do a complete uninstall and re-install of the SW. Important: Please make sure that the instrument and computer are not connected during the process.

Note: The cabinetry for TFS series rock speakers are sealed for weather-resistance and the inner-components cannot be easily replaced. We do not recommend replacing the driver for most end-users for the TFS series.

I bought a Brother ADS2200 scanner and I am trying to get it running under SANE. I need some help.

The ADS2200 is not supported by any of the Brother drivers mentioned on SANE/Scanner-specific problems (see compatibility list under ADS-scanner),

however, I gave a cursory try to get it running with brscan4, by addding a udev rule, to no avail.

I have two Smart UPS 2200 with the network management card and I am trying to locate the firmware along with the process on how to update the firmware. I am currently on APC OS Version v3.5.5 and it is an AP9617 UPS model number. I have tried to locate the firmware to download and well I have not ha any luck. I need help with my Casio CTK-2200, I read somewhere that it is a discontinued product, but I am intenting to use it as a midi controller. I am using Windows 10 64bits and ProTools HD. According to the manual, I just need to plug my piano and it should automatically install the software, but the "Device cannot be recognized" pop up shows up. I tried downloading the drivers from the casio website, but they do not work either, there's even a device manager that keeps saying "device not connected". Needless to say that ProTools also says there are no devices plugged to use. Does anybody have a link to these apparently outdated drivers somewhere? How do I fix this problem? I appreciate your support in advance.
