Hello,

We recently updated because of the glibc bug (and used it to update everything else as well, including xtrabackup) and now hit this bug: (WSREP SST xtrabackup impossible because it just ignores the backup-my.cnf)
and as there is no fix for the 2.3.x branch of xtrabackup we apparently need to upgrade to xtrabackup 2.4.x.

The Problem is how do I do that without removing the Cluster?

yum install percona-xtrabackup-24
Error: percona-xtrabackup-24 conflicts with percona-xtrabackup-2.3.3-1.el6.x86_64

yum remove percona-xtrabackup
Removing for dependencies: Percona-XtraDB-Cluster-55
Percona-XtraDB-Cluster-server-55

OS: RHEL 6
Server: 5.5.41-37.0-55-log Percona XtraDB Cluster

Any ideas how to proceed?

Greetings
Aku

https://www.percona.com/blog/2016/03/17/percona-xtrabackup-2-3-4-is-now-available/ -> So fix is released for this bug with XB 2.3.4

Thanks to Hrvoje Matijakovic info.
