I want to record my video lectures. My institute has only made them available through xvast. When I run OBS while playing the lecture it displays a message that OBS can't be opened. The browser crashes as well. Is there any way by which I can run OBS while playing video lectures on xvast?

Hi Steve,
could you open the Developer Tools on the browser to look for any JavaScript error e.g. preventing the loading?
That log could be a connection closed by the browser (or by the server).

I'm a little late to the party, but javascript and flash settings have impacted my ability to see such videos when using Chrome, especially when trying to access the site from a new/unconfigured computer.

Screen record protected videos with audio. The screen recorder can capture encrypted screen videos with multiple audio recording options at the same time, including internal/external sound from the microphone.

Step 4. When the recording is over, you will be lead to the preview interface where you can view and edit the recorded videos. Here you can eidt, take screenshots from the recording, or, adjust the volume and playback speed as you like.

This method is free as you don't need to buy any recording software from the market. You only need to prepare an external phone with a camera. When trying this method, the recordings will never show a black screen.

I m facing this issue from the last one month. I m not able to play any drm protected videos on any of my web browsers i.e chrome, brave, firefox, edge.
Before this everything was working fine. I was able to play DRM protected videos.

I did tried to play DRM protected videos using new profile as well as a new windows user on the same device but that too didn't worked ...... Something is blocking my pc from playing the DRM protected videos.

I am very happy to see that other users also face this issue, I am not alone. It is sad though that some Windwos update 2 or 3 months ago introduced something to the system that broke DRM. It's fine on Linux and I have everything updated. Windows, browsers, AMD driver.
Sometimes I have this feeling that a reboot of my machine helps, but then it suddenly doesn't work any more a few days later. Doesn't matter which browser I am using.
Would be really happy if Microsoft have a look into this issue. DRM is everywhere now.

If after following all instructions above IDM extension in Chrome still does not function, maybe there is a conflict with some other browser extension or standalone application (click for details).
