New Sea Perch Manual

Hello Sea Perch folks!

 

Brandy and I have recently completed a new version of the Sea Perch Construction Manual, which is available for download on the website:

The manual has been updated to clarify some of the instructions, add many tips and tricks that we use during our trainings, and slightly modify the control box wiring to simplify construction.  The circuit diagrams and wiring diagrams have been completely re-done from scratch to make them easier to use.  The parts and tools list has also been updated to remove a few items that are no longer used, and to reflect prices changes.  We hope that all this will make it simpler and easier for you to build Sea Perch ROVs with your students. 

 

Please let me know what you think of the new manual, and if you find any typos or things that still need clarification, especially in the wiring diagrams.  And as always, let us know when and how you are using Sea Perch in your classrooms!
