new Rov

Hi. I posted this site so others could learn from my own experiences
building my
ROV. It's a pretty simple camera system that sits on the MIT Sea Perch
frame.

I'm likely going to upgrade the thruster system (bilge pumps, Vellman
K8023 10
Channel 2 Wire Remote Control Kit, on-board battery). If someone can
point me to
a site where they lay out their implementation of something similar,
I'd
appreciate it.

Wow.. thanks for sharing this as it gives me some more ideas.. We are
still in the stage of building ROV from the kit. I let the kids do
it on their own time. We're to the point now of building the control
box. I definitely want to look into an U/W camera as I already have
an U/W camera I use while fishing and trolling so I get to see the
fish come up to the lure so now I want this portable kind of unit to
capture some video from the depths, albeit only down to 50 feet.
