Manuscripts reporting the results of experimental studies on animals must include a statement that the study protocol was approved by the animal ethics committee of the institution and that the study was conducted in accordance with the internationally accepted guidelines, including the Universal Declaration of Animal Rights, European Convention for the Protection of Vertebrate Animals Used for Experimental and Other Scientific Purposes, Principles of Laboratory Animal Science, and the Handbook for the Care and Utilization of Laboratory Animals. Authors are strongly requested to send a record of the approval of the ethics committee with the manuscript. Furthermore, manuscripts on human and animal studies should describe procedures indicating the steps taken to eliminate pain and suffering.
This is an open access journal, which means that all content is freely available without charge to the user or his/her institution. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full text of the articles in EURASIAN JOURNAL OF Medical Advances (EJMA) without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author. This is in accordance with the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI) definition of open access.
The BOAI arose from a meeting convened in Budapest by the Open Society Institute (OSI) on December 1-2, 2001. The purpose of the meeting was to accelerate progress in the international effort to make research articles in all academic fields freely available on the Internet. The participants represented many points of view, many academic disciplines, many nations, and had experience with many of the ongoing initiatives that make up the open access movement. In Budapest, they explored how the separate initiatives could work together to achieve broader, deeper, and faster success. They explored the most effective and affordable strategies for serving the interests of research, researchers, and the institutions and societies that support research. Finally, they explored how the OSI and other foundations could use their resources most productively to aid the transition to open access and to make open access publishing economically self-sustaining. The result was the BOAI. It is at once a statement of principle, a statement of strategy, and a statement of commitment.
When an author chooses to make their article open access, their article is made free to read and reuse immediately upon publication under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 (CC BY NC) license. This allows users to copy and distribute the article, provided this is not done for commercial purposes. It further does not permit distribution of the article if it is changed or edited in any way, and provided the user gives appropriate credit (with a link to the formal publication through the relevant DOI), provides a link to the license, and that the licensor is not represented as endorsing the use made of the work.
EJMA aims to provide quality, peer-reviewed, open access articles to thousands of physicians. The journals include papers on all of the related areas of basic and clinical medicine.

They must also ensure that published studies are original and contribute to the literature. Moreover, they must take notice of the responses received from researchers and practitioners and provide explanatory and informative feedback.
Relationships with Authors
Editors have the following duties and responsibilities in their relations with authors:
Relationships with the Editorial Board
Editors must make sure that the members of the editorial board follow procedures in accordance with the publication policies and guidelines, and must inform members about publication policies and developments. Reviewers do not contact the authors directly; the review and comments are conveyed through a journal management system.
The reviewers doing review work for EJMA bear the following ethical responsibilities: Reviewers must
