All,

I will be out of the office starting July 9th for approximately three weeks. During that time, Sam and Sarah will be taking care of all your publishing needs. 

Just a few reminders...
  • Internal - Although I publish every day, our official days for publishing internal documentation are Tuesdays and Thursdays. While I'm out, Sam and Sarah will follow this schedule. They will not have the time to publish sandbox requests every day of the week. 
  • External - Sam and Sarah will work with Release Management and Jennifer Cinotto to publish external documentation on the day of the release. This includes hot fixes, patches, quarterly releases, etc... Minor updates to external documentation that has already been released can wait until Tuesday or Thursday.
  • Publication Requests - Please do not email or IM Sam or Sarah your publication requests - use the CRS only. Give as much information as possible in your CRS publication request. Make sure you fill out all the fields and include any other relevant information in the Notes section. Is it a new topic? Where does it go in the TOC? Is there a doc map? What is the URL to the doc map? The more information, the better. 
  • Sandbox - Remember, the sandbox is for documentation that has not yet been released. If your documentation is published on the live environment, then it does not need to be on the sandbox. 
I will be offline the first week but will try to logon after that to check emails and answer any questions you might have.
