Dear Young Lawyers/Pupils,

The Perak Bar Young Lawyers Committee and Perak Legal Aid Centre would like to invite you to take part in a 1 day workshop entitled "LEGAL AID - THE NEXT GENERATION"

The program will discuss topics ranging from the Future of legal aid in Malaysia, Extension of legal aid work and How to attract Volunteer Lawyers.

The workshop aims to equip young lawyers and pupils with relevant information and guidance to create a pool of able volunteers and leaders for Legal Aid Centre.

The training will help participants develop a better understanding on their role in society, develop their skills and give them the confidence to reach out to members of the bar and the public.

DETAILS OF THE WORKSHOP

1. Title   :                     "LEGAL AID - THE NEXT GENRATION"

2. Date   :                      9th December 2011 (Friday)

3. Time  :                      9 am to 5 p.m.

4. Venue :                     Conference room, 1st floor, Perak Bar Secretariat.

5.  Registration fee :     There is NO registration fee but participants are expected to take the workshop seriously. 

                                      Meals and materials will be provided.  Please note that due to limited places, registration will be on a first-come first-served basis.
