Empire Sabers was formed at the height of the Covid crisis in 2020 by Daniel Lowe and Jason Woods. Like many great ideas to come out of the 'Stay at home' order, Daniel felt his desk was lacking an important yet simple age old tool. But why settle on a plain boring writing pen? What about something a bit more personalized to sit next to his lightsaber already on display? After scouring the internet for many hours and unable to find any kind of saber pen that was not made of cheap plastic, he decided to tap into his prior experience as a machinist and buy some equipment to make a quality pen out of his garage. After discussing the idea with his friend, Jason encouraged Daniel that he was on to something great and should not be limited to just a handful of pens. So, the two joined forces and Empire Sabers was born. The dream was to create an exceptional pen based on an iconic prop from some of their favorite movies.
