I couldn't get Lenny's Simple Trainer to work; however, the reason why we copied and pasted the "version.dll" file is because it contains online clothes/horses/maps. These can be accessed even if we use a different trainer; and one that does work is:

"GUYS, I just found out how to get JMRP to work, for some reason the "red dead online" mod prevents certain assets from loading, like the vest. If you disable the mod in the LML modmanager, it'll work. I bet if you change the loading order and check the "overwrite" option on the JMRP mod, everything will work together"

Many of his novels deal with crime in the horse-racing world, with some of the criminals being outwardly respectable figures. The stories are narrated by the main character, often a jockey, but sometimes a trainer, an owner, a bookie, or someone in a different profession, peripherally linked to racing. This person always faces great obstacles, often including physical injury. More than forty of these novels became international best-sellers.

Francis was born in Coedcanlas, Pembrokeshire, Wales.[2] Some sources report his birthplace as the inland town of Lawrenny, but at least two of his obituaries stated his birthplace as the coastal town of Tenby.[3][4] His autobiography says that he was born at his maternal grandparents' farm at Coedcanlas on the estuary of the River Cleddau,[5] roughly a mile north-west of Lawrenny. His mother had likely returned to her parents' home to give birth, as was the custom. He was the son of a jockey and stable manager[6] and his wife. Francis grew up in Maidenhead in Berkshire, England.[7] He left school at 15 without any qualifications,[8] intending to become a jockey; by the time he was 18, in 1938, he also was training horses.[9]

Francis's manager (and co-author of his later books) was his son Felix, who left his post as teacher of A-Level Physics at Bloxham School in Oxfordshire in order to work for his father. Felix was the inspiration behind a leading character, a marksman and physics teacher, in the novel Twice Shy. The older son, Merrick, was a racehorse trainer and later ran his own horse transport business, which inspired the novel Driving Force.

Stanley Kirk Burrell was born in Oakland, California, on March 30, 1962.[38] His father was a professional poker player and gambling casino manager (at Oaks Card Club's cardroom), as well as a warehouse supervisor.[39] He grew up poor with his mother (a secretary) and eight siblings in a small apartment in East Oakland. He recalled that six children were crammed into a three-bedroom housing project apartment. The Burrells would frequent thoroughbred horse races, eventually becoming owners and winners of several graded stakes.[39]

Prior to Hammer's next album, The Funky Headhunter, rumors from critics and fans began claiming Hammer had quit the music/entertainment business or had suffered a financial downfall (since a couple of years were passing between his two records), which Hammer denied. Hammer claimed rumors falsely heralded his downfall were most likely a result of the fact he turned over his "trimmed-down" Bust It Records to his brother and manager Louis Burrell Jr., and his horse racing interests to his brother Chris and their father, Louis Burrell Sr.[39]

By this time, he also parted ways with his only female executive music business administration consultant and songwriter, Linda Lou McCall (who previously worked with the Delfonics and her husband Louis A. McCall, Sr.'s band Con Funk Shun).[105] A music industry vet, McCall was hired by Hammer's brother and manager Louis K. Burrell, in 1990. She helped set up his corporate operations and administration, at Bust It Management & Productions Inc. in Oakland, California. She later became Vice President of Hammer's talent management company, overseeing artists like Heavy D, B Angie B and Ralph Tresvant. While at Bust It, she and her husband brought their artist Keith Martin to Felton's attention, who hired him as a backup musician and vocalist for Hammer's Please Hammer Don't Hurt 'Em and Too Legit to Quit world tours. In 1993 and 1994, McCall was also involved in several lawsuits against Hammer, which were eventually settled out of court.[citation needed]

Opinions differ on which type of stall flooring material is the best, but there is one thing most owners agree upon: a good floor is important to the horse's well-being. No one type of material seems to offer all the attributes of an ideal floor. Material selection depends on which disadvantage you are willing to work with. For example, concrete may meet most of your stall flooring criteria, but more bedding or solid rubber mats will be needed to protect the horse's legs. Table 1 summarizes the attributes of common flooring materials that will be described in more detail.

Horse behavior results in uneven wetting and use of the flooring. A wet, porous material, such as soil or clay, is less capable of bearing weight. Wet material will work its way into adjacent areas through hoof action, creating holes and high spots. In addition, horses often paw near the stall door or feed bucket from impatience, boredom, or out of habit. This creates low spots. Most horses are good housekeepers, if given enough space. Often, a mare will urinate and defecate in one spot in her stall, away from the resting and feeding areas. Geldings are more limited in how they use their stalls but typically defecate in one area and urinate in the center.

Many options are available for suitable flooring materials in horse stables. Selection will most often depend on what characteristics are important to the stable manager and local availability of materials. Stall floors become very important to leg and foot fitness when a horse spends a lot of time confined to a stall. Proper floor materials can aid stable cleaning and manure removal. The floor is more than the top surface on which the horse stands. A properly constructed floor has layers of materials that provide suitable support, drainage, and structural integrity for the top surface layer.

Steelworkers on strike at the Homestead Steel Works in Homestead, Pennsylvania fire on Pinkerton guards hired to keep order by general manager Henry Clay Frick. A Pinkerton Guard named John W. Holway later recalls, "...there were cracks of rifles, and our men replied with a regular fusillade. It kept up for ten minutes, bullets flying around as thick as hail, and men coming in shot and covered with blood." The governor of Pennsylvania orders that state militia intervene and 8,500 National Guard arrive. Known as the Homestead Strike, the action ends four months later.

There are several options for racehorses that are done racing. Horses that were very successful on the track and those that are well bred often will retire to the breeding shed in hopes of creating the next champion. Other horses are retrained for other disciplines like eventing, barrel racing, police work, and even ranch work, and some retired racehorses are just kept as pasture pets. There are several organizations dedicated to retraining, rehoming or providing a green pasture for these retired racers that are known as off-track Thoroughbreds or OTTBs. Some well-known OTTB organizations include Old Friends, New Vocations, CANTER, and ReRun. The Thoroughbred Aftercare Alliance is a fundraising and accrediting body that organizes grants to OTTB organizations that meet horse health, safety, and other requirements.

Sometimes. Horses usually are ridden by exercise riders for their daily morning exercise, but jockeys will sometimes ride a horse during a timed workout or to see if they want to ride the horse during a race. Young riders trying to make a name for themselves often offer their services to trainers for morning workouts to help generate interest in their services in the afternoons for races.

Horses eat grass or hay, which is dried grass or legumes. Racehorses and other working horses require extra energy that comes in the form of grain added to their diet. Horses also enjoy treats like carrots, apple slices, and peppermints.

Wear versus growth is the first point to consider. Factors include the genetics and breed of the horse, the structure and conformation of the hoof, the surface on which the horse will be worked, and most important, the job the horse will perform. These variables all influence the wear of the feet and will affect the decision as to whether the horse can be maintained barefoot. The structure of the foot is usually the determining factor in deciding whether the horse can remain barefoot.
