Position:Sr. .Net Developer

Location: Louisville, KY
Duration: 6 months
Start Date  08-15-2006

Rate:DOE 

 

Job Description 

 

The responsibilities will include:
- Develop many aspects of multi-tiered software systems, including database, business layer, and front-end components.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Create, maintain, and review technical documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
- Perform unit testing, and work with the Quality Assurance team as necessary.

 

The minimum requirements include:
- Prior development experience with Microsoft technologies, especially Visual Basic 6.0, COM/ActiveX component development, ADO; Experience using the .NET Framework and C# a plus
- Proficiency with SQL and relational database design; Experience developing triggers and stored procedures a plus
- Demonstrate excellent problem solving skills
- Communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- Experience working in team environments
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision

 

The Hardware and Software used includes:

 

Microsoft Office Suite, Visual Basic, SQL, COM, ActiveX, ADO, MTS, ASP, IIS, COM+, DCOM, ATL, XML, Oracle, MS SQL Server, .NET Framework, C#, Web Services.
