From OccupyMN:

Join OccupyMN and others this Tuesday 12/13 @ the County Commissioners meeting:

Gather at the Plaza at 1:00 pm and go up together to the meeting that starts at 1:30 pm

Demand:
-Stop Violation of our Constitutional Rights!
-End the Harassment, Intimidation and Attacks on Occupy!
-Return All our Bedding and Tents!
-Revoke All Trespasses!
-Allow Shelter for Occupy's Assembly!

The People's Plaza is our Plaza - a place for us to gather, to organize and to voice our demands for a society that puts people over profits. Since October 7, Occupy MN/Minneapolis has carried out a 24/7 protest at the Hennepin County Government Center, demanding a redress of grievances including joblessness, homelessness, foreclosures, and the buying of elections; demanding people over profits.

County officials have repeatedly denied our right to shelter and healthy means of assembly, meanwhile county commissioners voted themselves perks of $2000 a year for their health! While the 1% can buy their place at the table, the 99% must use public spaces to exercise our right of speech. We have the constitutional right to speech, assembly and dissent regardless of the weather, the season or the temperature. The 1% has fancy board rooms with fancy meals while they assemble. We have the right to survive while we assemble!

The County has tried everything to take the Plaza from us - seizing our tents, tarps and blankets, banning dozens of individual occupiers with trespass notices, and a constant campaign of harassment and threats. This culminated last week, with a December 6 raid on the Plaza. But still, we're not going away!

Later in the week, County officials will meet with ACLU attorneys representing Occupy, as part of a court-ordered mediation process. On Tuesday we can put the pressure on.

Come to the County Commissioners meeting to urge them to meet the demands of Occupy Minneapolis, and pressure them to end all the attacks and harassment of Occupy and the People's Plaza.

We refuse to be deterred, we refuse to be silenced! The County can steal our belongings but they cannot evict our demand for justice!
