updating stacks not occurring

i have tried to unfollow someone multiple times through peoplebrowsr,
and each day that person keeps showing back up in my stack. i went
outside of peoplebrowsr to unfollow using twitter, and they are gone
everywhere but peoplebrowsr.

after dealing with this for over a week, i realized that new followers
are not showing up and new follows are not showing up as well. i have
been following smashing magazine for a week, and couldn't figure out
what was wrong because i would see their feed on my phone, but not on
peoplebrowsr.

it seems like i need to clean my peoplebrowsr cache. i have recently
done this in my browser, so that is not the problem. any help would
be helpful because i am now trying to find a new tool.

i really love peoplebrowsr. it does what i need except for my
follow....
