New Student Scholarship available! Thanks to the generous support of
HWCC's member organizations, we are able to make a special student
scholarship available for the upcoming September training only. HWCC is
offering a unique opportunity to conservation students with financial
need. Eligible students who have current financial constraints, and do
not meet the existing scholarship requirements, will have an opportunity
to receive the training for the member fee of $350. If you would like
more information, please email Francine Madden by August 14, 2009 with a
brief statement of interest, including a brief outline of your current
research/educational focus. Scholarship beneficiaries will be notified
by August 19th. Email: fmma...@comcast.net

HWCC still has developing country scholarships available for the
upcoming Sept 9-11, 2009 Conservation and Conflict Training in
Washington, DC. Scholarships are to have the training fee waived; no
lodging/travel costs are covered, unfortunately. Find details on our
website: www.humanwildlifeconflict.org and contact Francine Madden for
further questions.

For all others, the registration deadline for the September 9-11, 2009
training has been extended to August 18th. Please find details at
www.humanwildlifeconflict.org.

All the best,
