Mr. Sheehan is justifying the next 20 Years of the War on Terrorism (sic),

and the US putting US Troops on the ground ANYWHERE, in any country,

at any time to fight against Al-Qaeda....

A year prior to 9/11, that same organization, with its affiliates in Yemen, almost sunk a U.S. ship, the U.S.S. Cole, a billion-dollar warship, killed 17 sailors in the port of Aden. The organization that attacked us on 9/11 already had its tentacles in—around the world with associated groups. That was the nature of the organization then; it is the nature of the organization now. In order to attack that organization, we have to attack it with those affiliates that are its operational arm that have previously attacked and killed Americans, and at high-level interests, and continue to try to do that."

 we can't afford any more debt or we will not recover, ever, unless they begin to collect dollars from the offshore havens of the Koch brothers et al.

The currency slide  is hitting us at the local level like no other time, because of our huge war debt.  When the ravages of the wars we have been fighting destroys the US what will be left of the US to fight over?  That is the question.

Seems the Chinese and the Arabs are already counting our dollars out and trading with their own currencies because of the weak dollar. Do they know something we have not admitted to ourselves?

al Queda DID NOT ATTACK THE UNITED STATES ON 9/11.   The state of Israel is attacking the Muslim people.  The United States is following the directions of Israel in these endless and very costly wars in the Middle East. 

Our 'pivot to Asia'  (the building of military bases surrounding China is in preparation of a war there.  Attacking Iran, as Israel demands, will set off a third world war when Russia, India and China join Iran against the United States and NATO. 

We must do all we can to change our rotten government BEFORE they attack any more sovereign nations.   We need to use our resources to take care of our serious problems here in the "homeland".   ('Homeland' to me sounds a lot like the German 'fatherland' of Adolph Hitler.)

The U.S. drones are a great recruiting tool for the young to hate us for generations.  Al-Qaeda seems to be a loosely based group that means a lot of things.  Mostly, it's a tool for the war machine to make more money and scare us.

The old guard is dying out.  We need to educate the kids coming up of progressive values.

It is good to consider how to get the young people to be aware of what is going on but I think we need to educate the voting age citizens of their duty to vote not on their response to expensive propaganda on the major media but to the truth of the voting records of their so called 'representatives'.  We the people DO NOT SUPPORT ENDLESS WARS.  We do not support for profit health care, drone attacks, austerity, giving trillions of our tax dollars to the crooks on Wall St or the deletion of whole sections of our Constitution.  The people must be informed to vote in their own self interests to allow all of us to have a chance to live a decent life.  Government should serve ALL THE PEOPLE, not just the top 1%. 

Our democracy is hanging on very slim threads and we need to repair this situation to truly be a nation with liberty and justice for all.

I'll be attending Netroots Nation on 6/20-23 with those of like minded thrity and 20 somethings people, who share our views.  Our struggles haven't changed and are similar to the younger generations.  There will be congressional people attending and candidates that we back, with action and money. Dr.Howard Dean will be one of our keynote speakers this year.

The disappointing thing about electing progressive candidates  is, some, not all,  soon become infected with the DC ailment in the name of follow the leader and vote the way the caucus wants them to, but thats how we got Elizabeth Warren, through grass roots organizing and we were able to beat Scott Brown, and boy was he an ass!

I encourage you to attend if you can, NetrootsNation13.com  their agenda is online and while you are at it, check out DailyKos.com  a progressive site, of the same young folks putting on the NN13.

Progressive people must leave the ranks of the loyal  Democrats.  No movement forward can occur as long as we suffer our present electoral system where we only may choose the lesser of two evils.  Progressives must face the fact that this clearly states that the democrats are evil.  They will vote today to approve the war Israel so badly wants against Iran.  Maybe such a war would be dandy for that apartheid state, but for us it will mean the beginning of the third world war WHICH WE WILL LOSE.  The USA lost the war against Vietnam and we sure as hell can't beat Iran with their allies in Russia, China and India. 

Stop voting for Democrats!
