…………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………
The Global Conference on Primary Health Care will take place in Astana, Kazakhstan October 25-26, 2018. Civil society groups around the world have expressed interest in making sure that the calls to action coming out of Astana are bold and have impact. That’s why the UHC2030 Civil Society Engagement Mechanism (CSEM) is facilitating an inclusive, consultative process to develop a civil society statement representing the voices of civil society who will be present in Astana and elsewhere around the world.
>>Please review the first draft of the Civil Society Statement: Global Conference on Primary Health Care (attached) and submit your input by 5:00 PM EDT, Thursday, September 27 here: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/CivilSocietyStatementGlobalConferenceonPHC
As the statement says civil society actors do not speak with one voice, and in that diversity lies our strength. Please share broadly within your respective civil society networks.
Your guidance will shape the next draft of the statement. The second draft of the statement will be circulated for another round of open consultation among civil society partners October 1-8, 2018. The final draft will be circulated for endorsement October 12-22, 2018.
If you wish to become a member of the UHC2030 CSEM please express your interest here: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/3N2ZXKC. Questions about the civil society statement or UHC2030 CSEM can be directed to Eliana Monteforte, Coordinator of the CSEM of UHC2030 cs...@msh.org.
.
Best,
Lisa
