Pasai apa rakyat nak berterima kasih dengan BN... Posted: 17 Oct 2011 02:15 PM PDT  Muhyiddin menyeru supaya rakyat berterima kasih kepada BN kerana BN telah mengubah taraf kehidupan mereka selama ini. Beliau membuat seruan ini di Seremban semalam dalam lawatan kerja sehari beliau ke Negeri Sembilan. Sepatutnya BNlah yang berterima kasih kerana rakyat selama ini telah memberikan sokongan kepada BN selama lebih daripada 50 tahun sehinggakan BN merasakan hak untuk berkuasa itu hanyalah untuk BN sahaja. Rakyat ramai sudah merasakan yang mereka hanya diperkudakan oleh BN untuk kepentingan kroni dan ‘warlords’ dalam UMNO sahaja dan ini adalah sikap tidak berterima kasih kepada rakyat. Rakyat telah memberikan mandat bukan untuk membina kumpulan ‘war lords’ tetapi untuk memerintah mengikut kehendak dan cita rasa mereka. Yang melakukan rasuah bukannya rakyat tetapi pemimpin-pemimpin, ‘war lords’ serta kroni di dalam pentadbiran kerajaan BN itu. Rakyat. merasa ‘fed-up’ mendengar pemimpin UMNO macam Muhyiddin supaya rakyat berterima kasih sedangkan kita tahu yang mereka tidak pernah berterima kasih kepada rakyat yang telah memberikan kepercayaan kepada mereka selama ini. Pemimpin kita tidak pernah mengaku bersalah tetapi kesalahan mereka akan sentiasa dilemparkan kepada pihak lain pula. Laporan audit negara masih tak nampak rupa lagi... Posted: 17 Oct 2011 10:45 AM PDT  Anggota parlimen Pakatan Rakyat menuntut penjelasan sama ada ketua audit negara ditekan untuk menyunting laporan tahunannya. Menyelar kelewatan penyerahan laporan itu, anggota parlimen Petaling Jaya Utara Tony Pua bertanya sama ada kerajaan takut akan hasilnya.Bercakap di lobi parlimen, Pua berkata, semasa pentadbiran bekas perdana menteri Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad dan Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, laporan itu dibentangkan sekali dengan belanjawan. "Tahun lalu, laporan audit negara lewat seminggu dan kali ini masih belum dibentangkan di Parlimen. "Saya ulang, adakan sebarang tekanan supaya laporan itu disunting," katanya. Sebelum itu Naib Presiden PAS Salahuddin Ayub (Kubang Kerian) mempersoalkan kelewatan itu dan mahukan penjelasan Timbalan Speaker Ronald Kiandee. Salahuddin berkata, sejak minggu lalu pihaknya sudah bertanya tentang alasan di sebalik langkah yang tidak selalu berlaku itu. 'Is auditor-general under pressure to censor report?' Pakatan Rakyat parliamentarians have demanded to know if the auditor-general (AG) has been “pressured to edit” his annual report to make it more palatable. Hitting out at the government for the delay in the submission of the report, Petaling Jaya Utara DAP MP Tony Pua asked whether the government is “afraid” of the outcome. He told reporters in the Parliament lobby that the during the administration of former premiers Dr Mahathir Mohamad and Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, the report was presented concurrently with the Budget. “Last year the AG’s report was one week late and this time it is yet to be tabled in Parliament. I repeat, is there pressure to edit the report?” he asked. Earlier, Salahuddin Ayub (PAS-Kubang Kerian) questioned the delay in the Dewan Rakyat and asked deputy speaker Ronald Kiandee (right) for an explanation. “What is the reason behind this unusual action this year? We have been asking for it since last week,” said Salahuddin. Kiandee said Parliament is also waiting for the report and that the MPs will receive their copy in due time. Opposition Leader Anwar Ibrahim interjected and insisted that the latter issues a “stern warning” and demands a “valid explanation” from the relevant ministry. “Is this a trick? Why the delay? Is it to stop MPs from debating it?” asked Anwar. Allahuakbar. Isu Hudud Menjadikan HIMPUN Tidak Releven Posted: 17 Oct 2011 10:43 AM PDT Arakian, akan diadakan sebuah perhimpunan yang dikatakan untuk memprotes "Kristianisasi" ekoran serbuan JAIS di Gereja DUMC.
Yang hairannya, sekirannya benar berlaku murtad, mengapa tiada dakwaan? Kalau Khalid Samad yang TERANG TERANG tidak melakukan apa2 kesalahan boleh didakwa, maka apa masaalahnya untuk mendakwa mereka yang terlibat dlm kes DUMC? Bob Lokman yang tiada kesalahan JAIS boleh panggil untuk disiasat, apasal tak boleh ada dakwaan ke atas mereka yang terlibat dalam DUMC? Sebenarnya, isu hudud telah mematikan isu Kristianisasi ciptaan UMNO ini. Walaupun UMNO dibantu oleh beberapa NGO serta beberapa pimpinan PAS yang pro UMNO seperti Hasan Ali, namun isu murtad telah menjadi sejuk akibat isu hudud. Mengapa Tulang Besi berkata demikian? Ia adalah kerana UMNO dengan segala jelasnya menunjukkan betapa mereka menolak perlaksanaan hukum Allah. Tanpa segan silu dan rasa takut mereka akur dgn amaran Chua Soi Lek(baca: pelakon porno) untuk tidak melaksanakan hukum hudud dan Qisas. Maka, benarlah kata Tok Guru Nik Aziz, bagaimana nak harap UMNO untuk memperjuangkan murtad sedangkan UMNO sendiri menolak hukum Allah secara TERBUKA. Yang hairannya, sedikit pun HIMPUN tak bicara berkenaan perlaksanaan hukum hudud dan tindakan kurang ajar UMNO menolak mentah-mentah perlaksanaan hukum tersebut. Dr Yusri Mohammad yang kononnya memperjuangkan murtad diam seribu bahasa apabila hukum Islam dihina oleh parti2 komponen BN seperti MCA dan Gerakan. Ini kerana UMNO hanya melihat Kristian sebagai musuh. Adapun kafir laknat yang menghina hukum Allah seperti MCA dan Gerakan tidak dipandang musuh oleh UMNO. Maka, Dr Yusri Mohammad menurut kehendak UMNO tersebut dan menjadikan hanya mereka yang dimusuhi UMNO sebagai musuh. Sikap double standard HIMPUN dan Dr Yusri inilah yang menyebabkan sehingga hari ini sambutan ke atas program HIMPUN ini seakan-akan hambar dan tidak bermaya. Hanya 29 NGO dari beribu-ribu NGO ISlam (termasuk persatuan2 khairat kematian, surau2, masjid2, persatuan kebajikan2 Islam) dsbnya yang menyokong HIMPUN secara terbuka. Sikap "Double Standard" Dr Yusry dan HIMPUN ini bakal menjadikan HIMPUN perhimpunan yang tidak mendapat sambutan dari majoriti umat Islam di Malaysia, inshaalah. Tulang Besi

Posted: 17 Oct 2011 06:32 AM PDT  Former IPP CEO and now Malaysia Airlines MD Ahmad Jauhari Yahya A name was announced a month ago as the new Managing Director of Malaysia Airlines to replaced sacked CEO Tengku Dato’ Azmil Zaharuddin Raja Abdul Aziz. Former MRCB Ahmad Jauhari Yahya has been appointed to the national carrier.
This surprise appointment came after five weeks of Malaysia Airlines been under the ‘control’ of an Executive Committee which comprises Chairman Tan Sri Mohd. Nor Yusof, Executive Director Mohamed Rashdan Mohd. Yusof, Dato’ Mohamed Azman Yahya and the two personalities from AirAsia which resulted from the ‘Malaysia Airlines – AirAsia highly ‘irregular’ share swap’ announced on 9 August, Tan Sri Tony Fernandes and Dato’ Kamaruddin Meranun. And yet, it has been informed that the wheels are in motion for the GLC’s different stewardship direction. Sources within revealed that Fernandes is not happy with Khazanah Holdings Bhd’s appointment of veteran GLC executive Jauhari to Malaysia Airlines’ top job. This is despite getting a very good deal in the what many see as a lopsided ‘share swap’ and ‘collaboration; where benefits for Malaysia Airlines have yet to be demonstrated. Not satisfied of getting Malaysia Airlines to cough out RM 18 million for ’away games’ sponsorship in record time for his own personal venture in English Premier League Queen’s Park Rangers, Fernandes is said to want more.  Air Asia X CEO Azran Osman Rani He wanted AirAsia X’s CEO Azran Osman Rani to head the national carrier. Whether this could be done or not (the fact that Jauhari’s been appointed) is not a material fact in this picture and schematic of things for Fernandes. Most likely the game is to inch Azran in and slowly shove Jauhari aside. Of course in between, there is the usual ‘drama’ when it involves the Air Asia CEO (just like the “threat to move AirAsia HQ to Jakarta” first surfaced in Malaysian media in May). Showmanship is a trait probably he learned well in his days as a record company executive, Fernandes is synonymous with doing way beyond convention and accepted best practices is his business attitude and mannerism. In 2005, he managed to bulldoze his agenda incorporated in the ‘Airline Rationalisation Plan’ where Malaysia Airlines was made to surrender prized domestic routes and heavily subsidies rural air services (RAS for Sabah and Sarawak) in 2006 to AirAsia (using the brand FlyAsiaExpress). Malaysia Airlines was also prohibited to sell their fares below certain floor rates or flexible schemes, which was seen as the key success factor for AirAsia’s acceptance in the market. He also managed to build the numbers from the subsidised RAS routes, which saw the international confidence on the new-kid-on-the-block. In 2005, he managed to convince then PM ‘Flip-Flop’ Dato’ Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi to build the existing low cost carrier terminal against the position of Malaysia Airports. It was built in record time (within 10 months of construction of 360,000 sq. ft. airport terminal building), even though there was never any provision in the airport complex. Fernandes argued against the use of KLIA main terminal building and his adamant not to use the aerobridge. Fernandes also has been trying to bite more than he could chew. Almost three years ago, he attracted a lot of attention when he tried to use Sime Darby to develop a purpose built low cost carrier airport in Labu. Of course, he denied the immense benefit he obtained during PM ‘Flip-Flop’ Abdullah’s tenure, along his relationship with Khairy Jamaluddin and Kalimullah “Riong Kali” Hassan. Riong Kali was the first AirAsia X Chairman. After able to convince Prime Minister Dato’ Seri Mohd. Najib Tun Razak via Khazanah and coupled with CIMB’s role as the share-swap adviser, to let go 20.5% of Malaysia Airlines for only 10% of AirAsia’s holdings, sources within talked about the proposal of Tune Air Group talking over Malaysia Airports Holdingd Bhd. This is not withstanding the fact that when Khazanah Holdings Bhd. MD Tan Sri Azman Mokhtar sat down with Fernandes for the first time, AirAsia owed Malaysia Airports over RM 100 million in airport tax even though the sum was already aggregated from the passengers, up front. It is not a big mystery why it is pertinent that the CEO of Malaysia Airlines is someone who will pander to Fernandes’s whims and fancy. For the Tune Air group of low cost airlines to move into the next level, they would want to graduate from the low cost carrier league and be a major player in the intercontinental and wide body airlines sector. Malaysia Airlines currently flies to 90 international destinations over six continents. Some of Malaysia Airlines prized routes include to London Heathrow , Tokyo Narita, King Abdul Aziz Jeddah, Paris Charles De Gaulle and Dubaii The ability to have competitive operating cost for a premium airlines with Malaysia Airlines’ internationally renowned and impeccable service record and awards and existing lucrative market is where the real beef is. Having two seats in the BOD and 20.5% holdings simply is not enough for some people.

Bagaimana mereka yang memberi itu mesti mengucapkan terima kasih kepada yang menerima? Selama ini BNlah penerima kuasa yang rakyat berikan dan BN jugalah yang tidak berterima kasih kerana tidak lagi menjaga pemberi mandat dengan jujur dan telus. Dalam pilihanraya ini pemberi mandat itu adalah rakyat dan jika BN masih ingin berkuasa BN khususnya UMNO patut mengucapkan terima kasih kepada rakyat bukannya mundar mandir minta rakyat yang berterima kasih kepada BN pula. Hakikatnya bukan BN yang memberi mandat kepada rakyat tetapi sebaliknya rakyat yang akan memilih kepada siapa yang mandat itu hendak diberikan. Oleh kerana sifat BN yang tidak berterima kasih kepada rakyat itulah yang menyebabkan UMNO dan BN semakin hari semakin lemah. Merasa ‘fed-up’ mendengar pemimpin UMNO macam Muhyiddin supaya rakyat berterima kasih sedangkan kita tahu yang mereka tidak pernah berterima kasih kepada rakyat yang telah memberikan kepercayaan kepada mereka selama ini. Sebaliknya mereka salah gunakan kepercayaan rakyat dengan melakukan rasuah dan menyalah gunakan kuasa dan seterusnya menyalahkan semua pihak yang lain kerana masalah keresahan yang dihadapi rakyat. Bagaimana rakyat hendak berterima kasih kerana sumbangan BN dalam menyusahkan rakyat? Pemimpin kita tidak pernah mengaku bersalah tetapi kesalahan mereka akan sentiasa dilemparkan kepada pihak lain pula. UMNO patut berusaha untuk menunjukan rasa terima kasih kepada rakyat tetapi bukannya dengan memberikan tunai secara ‘one-off’ yang tidak seberapa untuk melekakan orang Melayu dan seterusnya melakukan segala perkara yang tidak senonoh itu secara berterusan. Rakyat sedar seribu ringgit bantuan ‘one-off’ itu hanya menambah pendapatan rakyat sebanyak RM 2.73 sen sehari dalam setahun itu. Kenaikan pedapatan sebanyak itu tidak akan menjayakan niat kerajaan untuk menjadikan negara ini sebuah negara rakyat yang berpendapatan tinggi menjelang 2020. Bila hendak bercakap itu elok berfikir dahulu. Rakyat tidak lagi pekak dan bisu seperti anggapan setengah pemimpin kita. Rakyat pun sudah ke sekolah sikit-sikit. Setakat hendak membahagikan RM1000 dengan 365 hari dalam setahun itu sudah boleh sekarang. Untuk mendapatkan mandat rakyat hanya dibayar RM2.73 sen sehari sahaja bagi tahun 2012. Hebat kan? Untuk itu rakyat mesti berterima ksih kepada BN.

Who’s got contract for new MyKad... Posted: 17 Oct 2011 03:00 AM PDT  Opposition MP for Teluk Intan M Manogaran wants the government to reveal the name of the company which was awarded the contract to print the new set of MyKad, scheduled to be launched in January next year.He also wants Home Minister Hishammuddin Hussein to reveal “who owns the company and the cost of (producing) each of the new MyKad”. “We want Hishammuddin to reveal the name of the company awarded the contract, who owns the company and the cost of (producing) each of the new MyKad,” he said. Manogaran was responding to the minister’s announcement that beginning next year the National Registration Department (NRD) will issue new MyKads that will have several hi-tech security features. According to Hishammuddin the advantages of the new MyKad is that “it will be made of polycarbonate which will be much more durable and the new chip was tested at Sirim.” “There is no point in you having the best security featured identity card but corrupted officers,” countered Manogaran. How did Bangladeshis get citizenships? On a separate matter, Manogaran criticized Hishammuddin for threatening to expose opposition leaders who has also received citizenships. Hishammuddin was reported in Malay daily, Sinar Harian as saying that families of opposition leaders were also recipients of Malaysian citizenships. “That’s not what we asked the Home Minister in Parliament. What we asked was how is it that thousands of foreigners that were allegedly registered as voters got their citizenship at the first place. “Are they professionals? Posted: 17 Oct 2011 01:31 AM PDT Recently, some good friends of mine and fans of AirAsia have alerted me on the resurfacing of the email with subject title “AirAsia Compromise on Safety and Regulations”. This email has been on circulation for sometime despite an article on our Travel 360 magazine and abundance of article in the web on 25 minutes turn-around time. “Dear Friend, All Malaysian airlines including AirAsia are subjected to the safety regulations/standards set by the Department of Civil Aviation, Malaysia. In fact these standards are higher than that set by the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO). ICAO is made up 190 countries and we are one of them. All planes are also subjected to scheduled checks by the DCA to ascertain whether they are airworthy, if they are not, than I am afraid to say that they will not be allowed to fly. The ICAO also does annual checks on safety standards of all the airlines of its member countries including Malaysia. Only recently, the ICAO did their safety audit on Malaysia and the results were thumbs -up. Countries like UK and Australia will not accept Airasia if it is not up to the safety standards. UK has ban many airlines such from Indonesia and the Philippines. Australia has recently banned Tiger Airways from Singapore (imagine Singapore, the so call the safety standards bearers). Qantas, Australia has had the same safety problems as Tiger etc. And again, comparing a LCC with a Full Service Carrier is not a fair comparison at all. And I am not sure how you come to the conclusion that Lufthansa is a reputable airline! There are many types of air travel which we can choose, if we are not satisfied with one. This is a comment I received to the blogpost "A Malaysian Musical Journey"...... ' A perfect harmony ' hoop ! , a musical journey of ups and downs fantasizing of ' our dream and vision of a land of harmony ' hoop again ! Since the day of the second wave of immigrants stepped foot in the ' glorious land we call home , Malaysia ' as claimed , Malaysia has never been in the state of mind to ' celebrate our diversity ' and differences . It has always been the connotation of acceptance , tolerance and wisdom that superficially cultured that make us vaguely apparent ; nevertheless , a water tight and segmented society . Yes we have the ' ability to laugh at ourselves , laugh with brethren ' and be self-criticism and be open minded to ourselves ' through the musical landscape of our country ' but throwing constructed words and thoughts in our head was an erratic bearing and an arbitration to the inevitably sensitive environment . No doubt , there is such configuration of democracy in theater , thus liberty of the audience prevails . But democracy and liberty are not absolute . It has to come with the sense of articulation . It is a responsibility to be articulated . Since it is a musical concert , it is musically and heavenly excellence but the some contents are ' sumbang' in its harmony . NIAMAH!!!

Don to Dr M: Look Who’s Talking Posted: 16 Oct 2011 11:21 PM PDT Pakar perlembagaan negara, Profesor Dr Abdul Aziz Bari, hari ini, menempelak mantan perdana menteri Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad yang membidasnya kerana mendakwa tindakan mempertikaikan titah Sultan Selangor, Sultan Shafaruddin Idris Shah adalah perlakuan kurang ajar. “Kata Mahathir saya bersifat kurang ajar, tidak bermoral terhadap raja-raja. Adakah beliau betul? “Cuba bandingkan, apa yang saya katakan dan tulis (mengenai Sultan Selangor dalam isu pemeriksaan sebuah gereja di Damansara Utama) dengan apa yang diperkatakan dan dilakukannya pada tahun 1983 dan 1993,” kata Aziz dalam satu kenyataan kepada Malaysiakini. Sebagai mengimbas semula, kenyataan Aziz yang bertajuk “Ehhh….look who’s talking?” menceritakan bagaimana pada 1983, Mahathir meminda perlembagaan supaya undang-undang boleh digubal tanpa persetujuan Yang di-Pertuan Agong. Selain itu, kuasa menggistiyharkan darurat juga dipindahkan daripada Seri Paduka kepada Perdana Menteri. Semua pindaan itu mencetuskan krisis, katanya. Menurut Aziz lagi, pada 1993, Dr Mahathir juga melucutkan kekebalan raja-raja Melayu dan mahu peruntukan undang-undang supaya baginda boleh diheret dan dibicarakan di mahkamah khas. “Semua pindaan itu juga menimbulkan krisis. “Dalam kedua-dua peristiwa itu, beliau juga menganjurkan perhimpunan di seluruh negara bagi membidas raja-raja (agar rakyat bangkit menyokongnya),” katanya. Dr Mahathir selepas menyempurnakan Majlis Konvokesyen Ke-11 Universiti Teknologi Petronas (UTP), di Parit, semalam dilaporkan berkata tindakan Aziz mempertikaikan titah Sultan Selangor adalah perlakuan kurang ajar. Kurang ajar Ahkbar milik Umno, Utusan Malaysia juga memetik mantan perdana menteri itu berkata, walaupun ia mungkin tidak menyalahi undang-undang, tindakan Aziz yang enggan meminta maaf atas kesilapannya itu jelas bertentangan dengan prinsip moral. “Kalau dalam bahasa Melayu, kita kata kurang ajar. Sama ada ia melanggar undang-undang, saya tidak tahu, tetapi dari segi moral, ia kurang ajar,” kata Mahathir. Bagaimanapun menurut Aziz, terpulang kepada rakyat menentukan siapa sebenarnya yang bersikap kurang ajar kepada raja-raja Melayu kerana umum tahu pendirian Dr Mahathir dan Umno yang seringkali tidak tetap dan akan memihak kepada keputusan yang menguntungkan mereka. “Dua tahun lalu, dia (Dr Mahathir) kata OK bagi pihak Istana menyingkirkan (Menteri Besar Perak Datuk Seri) Nizar (Jamalauddin). “Dan awal tahun ini pula, beliau berkata dirinya tidak pernah merampas kuasa sultan dalam pelantikan SUK (Setiausaha Kerajaan Negeri) Selangor (selepas Sultan bertitah baginda tidak lagi mempunyai kuasa melantik SUK).” Pada 11 Oktober lalu, kenyataan Aziz yang berkata tindakan Sultan Selangor untuk campurtangan berhubung isu pemeriksaan sebuah gereja Methodist di Damansara Utama pada 3 Ogos lalu, bukan sesuatu tindakan yang lazim mencetuskan kontroversi. Katanya, tindakan Sultan Selangor itu tidak konsisten dan tidak selaras dengan ajaran Islam. Berikutan itu, pemimpin BN, khususnya Umno dan media-media miliknya memperhebatkan bidasan mendesak Aziz memohon maaf dan dikenakan pelbagai tindakan kerana didakwa biadap dan derhaka kepada institusi raja-raja. Mahathir, Ezam juga disaman Sementara itu, Aziz Bari juga berkata akan turut menyaman Dr Mahathir dan bekas ketua Pemuda PKR Ezam Mohd Nor berhubung kenyataan mereka yang menyelarnya dalam isu titah Sultan Selangor. Aziz berkata, perkara itu diputuskan selepas berbincang dengan peguamnya Hanipa Maidin. “Berdasarkan pendapat peguam saya, saya rasa kita perlu masukkan Mahathir sekali, berdasarkan apa yang dikatakannya dan dilaporkan di muka depan Utusan (Malaysia) hari ini. Aziz berkata, notis tuntutan akan dihantar kepada Dr Mahathir dan Ezam pada bila-bila masa pada minggu ini. Aziz semalam hanya memutuskan menyaman Utusan kerana didakwa memfitnahnya dalam laporan berkaitan kenyataannya terhadap titah diraja dan isu agama.

Beza Diantara Bajet BN Dengan Belanjawan Pakatan Rakyat Posted: 16 Oct 2011 10:25 PM PDT Najib Razak menyindir Belanjawan Pakatan Rakyat sebagai bajet yang “menjanjikan bulan dan bintang” yang bunyinya sama seperti ejekan budak-budak sekolah yang masih berhingus.
Bukti-bukti kejujuran Pakatan Sebagai contoh, kerajaan negeri Pakatan Rakyat Pulau Pinang yang tidak berasaskan perkauman dan politik kronisme berjaya mencatatkan lebihan bajet untuk tiga tahun berturut-turut sejak 2008 melalui urus tadbir cekap, akauntabel dan telus (CAT). Kejayaan ini yang disahkan oleh Laporan Ketua Audit Negara juga mendapat pujian Tranparency Internationaldi Malaysia kerana berjaya memerangi rasuah. Pentadbiran yang bersih itu telah menghasilkan “dividen anti-rasuah” yang dikumpulkan bagi mengadakan program untuk membantu warga emas, orang kurang upaya dan banyak lagi yang mana kebanyakan penerimanya adalah kalangan orang Melayu dan umat Islam negeri.
Yang terbaru, statistik Malaysia Industrial Development Authority (MIDA) mengenai pelaburan di Malaysia bagi separuh penggal tahun ini menunjukkan Selangor sebagai negeri paling banyak mempunyai projek yang diluluskan. Sebanyak 158 projek perindustrian yang diluluskan di Selangor dan ini merupakan 31% daripada jumlah projek bagi seluruh Malaysia, menurut Exco Kanan Kerajaan Negeri Selangor bagi Pelaburan, Perindustrian dan Perdagangan, Teresa Kok. Kerajaan negeri Pakatan Kedah yang juga bebas rasuah telah berjaya mengamalkannya melalui cara kepimpinan melalui teladan di mana pimpinan negeri tidak menggunakan jet kerajaan, tidak tinggal di hotel mewah, malah membuat potongan gaji dan elaun yang dapat menjimatkan pentadbiran daripada pembaziran.
Ini bererti Pakatan Rakyat mampu mentadbir negeri dengan baik, telus dan serius menangani masalah rakyat. Memang benar Pakatan menawarkan pemberian tunai dan pelbagai program kebajikan kepada rakyat sebagaimana yang ditiru oleh BN tetapi ada satu perbezaan besar yang tidak ditawarkan oleh BN – pentadbiran yang adil, bersih, telus dan anti-rasuah. Melihat Bajet BN 2012, ternyata bajet yang dibentangkan oleh Najib baru-baru ini bukan sekadar bajet pilihan raya tetapi memperlihatkan ketandusan idea pentadbiran BN, malah sebahagian daripadanya dicedok dari idea Belanjawan Pakatan Rakyat sendiri. BN gagal angkat martabat insan BN terdesak sehingga terpaksa mengulangi berapa banyak subsidi yang telah diberikan kerajaan kepada rakyat sedangkan perkara ini telah pun kita ketahui.
Sudah tentu ia bukan kerana BN sayangkan rakyat tetapi semata-mata mahu memancing undi dalam pilihan raya umum akan datang. Jika tidak, mengapa perlu lidah bercabang? Bukanlah Pakatan Rakyat lebih konsisten dalam membuat tawaran ikhlas kepada rakyat? Rakyat berhak mendapat subsidi yang lebih banyak dari sekarang memandangkan Malaysia merupakan sebuah negara yang kaya dengan pelbagai sumber ekonomi. Jika kerajaan BN kesempitan wang, ia adalah berpunca daripada pentadbirannya yang penuh dengan ketirisan, kebocoran dan tidak telus. Ini menunjukkan bahawa BN gagal menangani masalah ekonomi dengan baik apatah lagi bergelut dengan pelbagai isu ketirisan wang negara yang parah. Kalangan rakyat yang tinggal di bandar terutamanya telah lama dihimpit masalah ekonomi yang kian mendesak.
Malah, diskaun tambang LRT dan monorel yang amat diperlukan oleh pelajar, pekerja awam serta kakitangan swasta tidak dipedulikan; sebaliknya mahu diberikan kepada warga emas yang amat jarang menggunakan perkhidmatan pengangkutan itu. Apakah pengecualian yuran sekolah yang sememangnya hanya beberapa ringgit itu sudah cukup untuk memperbaiki status ekonomi rakyat? Apakah pemberian bonus untuk kakitangan awam sahaja mampu menyelesaikan masalah kemiskinan rakyat terbanyak? Sedangkan jumlah pekerja yang ramai adalah dari sektor swasta. Jadi di mana pelaksanaan gaji minima untuk mereka? Mengapa pula Akta Pekerjaan mahu dipinda untuk member lebih kuasa kepada majikan? Siapa sebenarnya yang dibela oleh kerajaan BN? Najib dan BN bukan sahaja gagal menangani masalah ekonomi rakyat malah gagal mengangkat martabat insan untuk mendapat keadilan dan kesaksamaan yang sewajarnya. Apakah kita sebagai rakyat wajar mendapat layanan sebegini dari sebuah kerajaan yang telah diberikan amanah? Dan sampai bilakah kita harus membiarkan negara ini ditadbir oleh orang-orang yang gagal?

Mungkin, ia bukanlah sesuatu terjangkau oleh fikiran mereka di pihak Barisan Nasional kerana Pakatan Rakyat bukan sekadar menjanjikan urus tadbir ekonomi yang baik malah menawarkan pentadbiran yang berintegriti dan telus seperti mana terbukti di negeri-negeri di bawah pentadbiran Pakatan Rakyat.
Kerajaan Pakatan Selangor pula mengadakan banyak program membantu warga emas dan golongan miskin serta menghidupkan kembali projek perumahan rakyat yang terbengkalai sewaktu pemerintahan BN dahulu.
Begitu juga kerajaan negeri Pakatan Kelantan yang telah sekian lama diterima oleh anak negeri kerana cara hidup sederhana dan anti-rasuah yang diamalkan sejak lebih 20 tahun lalu.
Malah, lebih memalukan apabila BN yang sebelum ini bermati-matian mengatakan subsidi akan menjadikan negara bankrap terpaksa menelan ludah sendiri apabila terpaksa mengekalkannya.
Apa yang Najib lakukan untuk membela nasib golongan ini? Menurunkan cukai, mengurangkan harga petrol? Jauh sama sekali.
