5 guru Pasti kemalangan, seorang meninggal dunia

GELANG PATAH, 15 Jan: Seorang guru Pusat Asuhan Tunas Islam (Pasti) meninggal dunia selepas terlibat dalam satu kemalangan jalan raya berhampiran Simpang Renggam kira-kira jam 3 petang tadi.

Mangsa, Zainon Maas, 30, dilaporkan meninggal dunia di tempat kejadian selepas kenderaan MPV jenis Honda Wish yang dinaikinya bersama lima lagi rakan guru Pasti yang lain, dirempuh dari arah belakang.

Akibat rempuhan itu, mangsa yang duduk di tempat duduk bahagian belakang didakwa tercampak keluar melalui bonet belakang yang terbuka, dan kemudian dilanggar oleh sebuah kenderaan lain yang mengakibatkan beliau cedera parah dan meninggal di tempat kejadian.

Dalam kejadian itu juga, seorang lagi rakannya juga dilapor turut cedara parah, manakala yang lain hanya mengalami cedera ringan.

Jenazah Zainon dan rakannya difahamkan kemudiannya dibawa ke Hospital Kluang.

Difahamkan juga, kesemua mereka ketika itu dalam perjalanan pulang dari menghadiri Usrah Perdana Pasti Negeri Johor di Parit Raja tengah hari tadi.

Guru berdedikasi

Allahyarhamuha Zainon adalah seorang anak peneroka Felda Pasir Raja yang mengajar di Pasti Siswa 2 di Gelang Patah dan telah berkhidmat di sana lebih empat tahun.

Timbalan Pesuruhjaya PAS Negeri Johor, Mazlan Aliman ketika menghubungi Harakahdaily merakamkan takziah buat keluarga allahyarhamuha.

Katanya, pemergian allahyarhamuha bagi PAS Johor disifatkan sebagai satu kehilangan besar, lebih-lebih lagi beliau seorang guru yang sangat berdedikasi.

"Saya mewakili PAS negeri dan kawasan merakamkan takziah kepada keluarga beliau.

"Semoga roh Allahyarham ditempatkan bersama orang-orang yang soleh," katanya yang juga Yang Dipertua PAS kawasan Tenggara.

Jenazah Allahyarhamuha menurut Mazlan akan dikebumikan pagi esok. -hd

Guru PASTI Gelang Patah Kemalangan : Seorang Meninggal Dunia



Assalamu'alaikum dan salam perjuangan,

Saya mendapat panggilan telefon daripada Ketua Pemuda PAS Johor yang memaklumkan bahawa guru-guru PASTI kawasan Gelang Patah telah terlibat dalam kemalangan setelah pulang daripada satu program di Parit Raja dan salah seorang daripada guru tersebut telah meninggal dunia manakala lima lagi cedera. Empat dirawat sebagai peasakit luar di Hspital Besar Kulai dan seorang lagi cedera parah di rawat di Hospital Daerah Kluang.

Jenazah guru tersebut dan guru-guru yang cedera dihantar ke Hospital Daerah Kluang. Saya telah memaklumkan kepada pimpanan PAS Kluang untuk memberikan bantuan kepada mangsa dan keluarga mangsa di Hospital. Saya jangka akan tiba di Kluang sekitar jam 8 malam nanti.

Saya tiba di perkarangan bilik Mayat Hospital Daerah Kluang pada sekitar pukul 8.30 malam setelah Naib Yang Di Pertua PAS Kluang mengambil saya di Terminal Bas Kluang. Di Hospital saya bertemu dengan Hajah Atiah Ahmad selaku Ketus Dewan Mualimat PAS Johor, sdr Mahadzir Mat Zili Pengarah Pasti Johor, Puan Kamsiah Hassan iaitu Pengerusi MGP Johor dan pimpinan PAS Kluang yang setia membantu. Tokoh Siti Khadijah PASTI Malaysia yang juga mantan Pengerusi MGP Johor iaitu Hajah Siti Sarah turut haadir sama tadi.

Jenazah cikgu Zainon setelah siap dimandi dan disembahyangkan dibawa terus ke kampung halamannya di Felda Pasir Raja pada malam ini untuk disemadikan pada malam ini juga manakala seorang lagi guru yang cedera parah di bawa ke Hospital Sultanah Aminah di Johor Bahru untuk rawatan lanjut.

Saya mewakili PAS Kawasan Kluang mengucapkan takziah kepada semua yang terlibat dalam kemalangan dan mudah-mudahan cikgu Ainon yang telah meninggal dunia dalam kemalangan ini akan dicucuri Rahmat ke atas rohnya.

Myanmar: The world owes it to Razali Ismail... not Obama!

The US administration was fast to attribute Obama's foreign policy to the changes taking place in Myanmar. As normalisation of US-Myanmar relation looks imminent, American diplomats were already jumping around, claiming it was their effort which led to a new Myanmar (or Burma).

What a load of craps!

The US, Myanmar, Asean and in fact the international community owe it to our former senior diplomat Tan Sri Razali Ismail (pic).

It was his continuous effort as the United Nations' special envoy to Myanmar in 2000-2005 that paved the way to a democratic Myanmar. He was the one responsible in securing the release of Aung San Suu Kyi from house arrest in May 2002.

However, his impartiality as a UN Special Envoy was questioned by American officials in an embassy cable that was released via Wikileaks, alleging his business ties with the Burmese military regime.

Later however, Myanmar military junta repeatedly denied him entry to Myanmar, contributing to his decision to quit the special envoy status in December 2005. It was only recently that the junta realised its accusation against him was unfounded.

Across the United States and elsewhere - including in Kuala Lumpur - US diplomats were quick to claim credit for their 'endless' effort in bringing about changes in the Asean country.

As preparations were made to send a senior ambassador to Yangoon, some White House officials said it was Obama's policy of engagement which managed to bring one of the 'world's pariah states out from the cold.

Typical American diplomats. It was the same 'engagement policy' that allowed former President George Bush to launch military attacks on innocent Iraqis and Afghans. It was that particular policy which permitted the murder of Saddam Hussein and Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi.

And Myanmar could be next if it fails to comply with their diplomatic pre-requisites!

Georgetown - Seorang penuntut Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) kampus kejuruteraan di Nibong Tebal ditahan polis hari ini untuk diambil keterangan berhubung tindakanya membuat kenyataan berunsur ugutan menerusi laman sosial Facebook.

Difahamkan, penuntut berusia 23 tahun itu mengajak pihak lain meletakkan bom pada helikopter yang akan dinaiki Perdana Menteri Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak ketika lawatannya ke kampus itu minggu depan.

Antaranya penuntut itu menulis, "Najib datang ke kampus... mari bom helikopter beliau."

Ketua Polis Daerah Timur Laut, Asisten Komisioner Gan Kong Meng berkata, pelajar itu ditahan kira-kira jam 9.30 pagi selepas kenyataanya itu dikesan seorang blogger yang menyatakan perkataan-perkataan yang mengandungi unsur-unsur jenayah.

"Satu laporan polis telah dibuat berkaitan dengan isi kandungan blog itu di Balai Jelutong," katanya dalam kenyataan media hari ini.

Menurutnya, bagi membantu siasatan lanjut, pelajar berkenaan telah dipanggil untuk memberi keterangan di Ibu Pejabat Polis Daerah Timur Laut Pulau Pinang kira-kira jam 1.30 tengah hari.

"Siasatan dibuat di bawah Seksyen 506 Kanun Keseksaan berkaitan dengan isi kandungan blog berkenaan. Bagaimanapun, kes ini masih dalam siasatan," katanya.

Sementara itu, Ketua Polis Negeri, Datuk Ayub Yaakob ketika dihubungi mengesahkan tangkapan itu dan beliau akan mengadakan sidang media berkenaan mengenai perkara ini esok. -SH

Ugut letup helikopter PM: Pelajar USM ditangkap

Polis menahan seorang pelajar Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) kampus kejuruteraan selepas membuat kenyataan berunsur ugutan menerusi laman blognya, di Georgetown hari ini.

Menurut Bernama, dalam kenyataannya pelajar terbabit dikatakan mahu meletakkan bom pada helikopter yang akan dinaiki Perdana Menteri Datuk Seri Najib Razak dalam lawatannya ke kampus itu minggu hadapan.

Pelajar terbabit akan disiasat di bawah Seksyen 506 Kanun Keseksaan yang memperuntukkan penjara sehingga dua tahun atau denda atau kedua-duanya.

Ketua Polis Negeri Datuk Ayub Yaakob yang dihubungi mengesahkan perkara itu dan akan mengadakan sidang media mengenainya esok.

Sementara itu, Star Online, pula melaporkan pelajar berkenaan menulis: "Najib akan datang ke kampus kami ... mari kita bom helikopternya itu ...".

Portal itu juga memetik Ketua Polis Daerah Georgetown Gan Kong Meng berkata pelajar itu dibawa ke balai polis untuk disoal siasat pada kira-kira jam 1.30 tengahari tadi.

"Polis sedang menyiasat kes ini di bawah Seksyen 506 Kanun Keseksaan kerana ugutan jenayah. Beliau sebelum ini dicekup di kampus di Nibong Tebal.

I wonder what and where was this Mr.Malott when his country was deciding on its President? Remember how Al Gore (the other idiot) won and lost? and when Bush lost and won?

I really wonder if he thought that his country was as dirty as what his thoughts are on Malaysia.

John Malott has been pissing every now and then and when he does, sings praises for Anwar. His latest attempt in implying that an appeal of the not guilty versdct for Anwar is nothing more than a feeble attempt to make himself heard again. I am not sure, but from the looks of his picture, he seems the type that would have been not so happy when Obama was made President.

Mr. Najib's government cracked down in July on Bersih 2.0, a coalition of organizations calling for free and fair elections. This demonstrated the ruling party's fear that genuinely fair elections could cause them to lose power for the first time since 1957. John decides to use 'key electoral reforms' as something the Najib administration had to make do with cowing down to pressure (from who, John?) Matter of fact, the Obama administration had nothing but good things to say about Malaysia. Did your secretary of state accord an official meeting to your chum?
I don't think so. 

And if he thinks the July crackdown on Bersih 2.0 was something the Najib Administration had cracked down on, why doesn't he look back at things in his own country before commenting? Malaysia has clear laws, and if a gathering is illegal, then it so is. For example, in our country drugs are illegal, and I guess so is it in the USA, but what John does not want to see is that his government is also abetting other regimes by ensuring that some narco deals are 'slipping' back his country.

Yet, law enforcement personnel would know that by law, they have to take action against these drug pushers and pedlars. And so is it in our country, and in ours illegal gathering is still illegal (last checked, the very people who wanted to gather illegally also wanted to stop the government from allowing mass protest!!)

I honestly don't know what Anwar means to John, and I suppose when he was here in Malaysia, he was busy kissing ass to the then Deputy Prime Minister, for I can read his angst when talking about Tun Dr.Mahathir. I guess back then when he was Ambassador here to Malaysia, he did not realise that certain policies by that very same person he champions was deft against ethnic minorities.

Funny John, no mention of Islamist radicals and Hudud? I wonder what John thinks about it.

Calon BN Lembah Pantai: Sharizat Bakal Disembelih, Nong Chik Ambil Alih

Nong Chik dakwa Nurul Izzah tak buat kerja

KUALA LUMPUR – Barisan Nasional (BN) yakin dapat menawan semula kerusi Parlimen Lembah Pantai pada pilihan raya umum berdasarkan prestasi wakil rakyat kawasan itu, Nurul Izzah Anwar yang menurutnya tidak turun membantu penduduk bahagian tersebut.

Menteri Wilayah Persekutuan dan Kesejahteraan Bandar, Datuk Raja Nong Chik Raja Zainal Abidin berkata, Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) hanya menumpang usaha BN membantu penduduk Lembah Pantai.

“PKR hanya tahu mengkritik, tapi hampir empat tahun tiada perkara yang membina telah dibuat, hanya bila kita (BN) berjaya membuat sesuatu, mereka cuba menumpang, contohnya kita dapatkan peruntukan daripada Perdana Menteri Datuk Seri Najib Razak untuk cat rumah di Taman Sri Sentosa dan Terminal Sejahtera pun, dia kata atas desakkan dia, bila dia desak, tak ada pun, dia tak buat apa pun selama dua tahun ini," kata beliau yang juga Ketua Umno Lembah Pantai.

Nurul Izzah menang di bahagian Lembah Pantai dengan menewaskan Datuk Seri Shahrizat Abdul Jalil pada pilihan raya umum 2008.

Ia salah satu daripada 10 kerusi Parlimen di Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur dimenangi oleh komponen Pakatan Rakyat (PR).

“Selama ini, dia hanya ikut dan perjuangkan bapanya, bila dekat pilihan raya baru nak sibuk jadi pejuang rakyat,” katanya pada sidang media selepas Majlis Penyampaian Sumbangan Tahun Baru Cina di Padang Bola Sepak Dewan Bandar raya Kuala Lumpur, Taman Seri Sentosa di sini.

Beliau berkata, sikap pemimpin PKR itu menjadikan sokongan rakyat mula beralih arah kepada BN kerana yakin pengundi akan membuat pemilihan atas keupayaan BN yang membantu rakyat.

“BN, Umno, MCA dan parti komponen lain dah lama berjuang bertahun-tahun, malahan saya sendiri sudah 25 tahun di Lembah Pantai, kita tak guna platform untuk keluarga atau kepentingan sendiri.

“Kita ikhlas membantu penduduk Lembah Pantai, itulah perbezaannya dengan PKR," kata beliau lagi.

Raja Nong Chik menambah, "oleh itu, kita boleh lihat sambutan yang telah ditunjukkan oleh penduduk, BN yakin kita boleh rampas kerusi Lembah Pantai."

Ketika mengulas desas-desus akan bertanding di Lembah Pantai menentang Nurul Izzah, Raja Nong Chik berkata, beliau hanya menunggu keputusan pucuk pimpinan jika mahu meletakkannya sebagai calon.

Sementara itu, Raja Nong Chik turut menegaskan, isu Perbadanan Fidlot Nasional (NFC) tidak akan mengganggu gugat kedudukan BN untuk menawan kembali Lembah Pantai.

“Kita bagi peluang kepada pihak berkuasa untuk menyiasat dan kita tidak boleh menghukum sesiapa pun, jika (Datuk Seri) Anwar Ibrahim boleh dilepaskan dengan pelbagai andaian, kita beri juga peluang menyiasat dengan betul kepada mereka-mereka yang terlibat.

“Kita tidak boleh anggap orang yang bersalah kecuali didapati memang betul bersalah, biarlah penyiasatan berlaku oleh pucuk pimpinan negara,” katanya yang juga Timbalan Pengerusi Umno Wilayah Persekutuan.

Patutlah Najib menyatakan beliau gembira Sharizat ambil cuti 3 minggu (atau memang perancangan Najib arahkan Shahrizat bercuti?)

Rupa-rupanya ada perancangan lain, untuk meletakkan kawan karib Rosmah Mansor, iaitu Raja Nong Chik, menteri bertaraf senator, untuk bertanding di Lembah Pantai.

Kini Nong Chik melilau di sekeliling Lembah Pantai untuk pamer diri sebagai calon Lembah Pantai, menyerang Ahli Parlimen sekarang, Nurul Izzah Anwar.

Kes Kompleks PKNS: Faekah Bidas Gelagat Najib Seperti Hero Filem Tamil

Majoriti setuju kenaikan sewa Kompleks PKNS

PETALING JAYA: Seorang pegawai kanan Menteri Besar Selangor menegaskan mereka yang menentang kenaikan kadar sewa kompeks PKNS di Shah Alam bukan penyewa.

“Mereka yang menentang kenaikan kadar sewa di kompleks itu adalah golongan kaya raya.

“Di rumah mereka berderetan kereta mewah hasil dari aktiviti sebegini?” kata Setiausaha Akhbar Menteri Besar Faekah Husin dalam kenyataan media hari ini.

Sebenarnya, kata beliau 70 peratus penyewa terbabit setuju dengan kenaikan ini.

Penyewa-penyewa ini telah menikmati kadar sewa 70 peratus lebih murah berbanding pasaran, tambahnya.

Faekah mengulas lawatan Perdana Menteri Datuk Seri Najib Razak ke kompleks itu semalam.

Najib dilaporkan sebagai berkata beliau mahu menitis air mata mendengar keluhan peniaga-peniaga tentang kenaikan kadar sewa di Kompleks PKNS.

Faekah menyifatkan gelagat Najib itu sebagai hero filem Tamil.

Lakonan beliau sehingga kononnya akan mengeluarkan airmata telah memualkan banyak pihak, katanya.

“Najib sepatutnya menitiskan air mata apabila melihat pemimpin Umno yang tamak haloba dengan tersenarainya nama mereka dalam senarai pemiliki tanah Felda dan Felcra yang sepatutnya menjadi milik peneroka.

“Najib juga sepatutnya menangis apabila seorang wakil rakyat Melayu menjual tanah rezab Melayu kepada tauke Cina dan tanah yang diwartakan untuk pembinaan surau dijual bagi memberi laluan kepada projek pembangunan,” kata Faekah. -FMT


Faekah: Gelagat Najib tidak ubah bagai hero filem Tamil

Gelagat Perdana Menteri, Najib Razak ketika melawat Shah Alam semalam mengingatkan saya kepada hero filem Tamil tahun 1960-an yang masuk ke sebuah kampung untuk menyelamatkan gadis dalam kesusahan.

Gadis di sini merujuk kepada segelintir penyewa-penyewa di Kompleks PKNS yang keresahan susulan keputusan PKNS untuk menaikkan kadar sewa.

Tidakkah Najib tahu bahawa 70% penyewa terbabit setuju dengan kenaikan ini? Tidakkah beliau tahu bahawa penyewa-penyewa ini telah menikmati kadar sewa 70% lebih murah berbanding pasaran semasa di ShahAlam?

Adakah Najib tahu bahawa mereka yang menentang kenaikan kadar sewa ini adalah golongan rentir bukannya penyewa lot-lot kedai di komplek situ? Ini jelas menunjukkan golongan rentir inilah yang dalam kesusahan. Sedarkah Najib bahawa di rumah mereka berderetan kereta mewah hasil dari aktiviti sebegini?

Saya tidak fikir hanya saya yang beranggapan tindakan lagak hero Najib ini sebagai pelik. Tambah pula, lakonan beliau sehingga kononnya akan mengeluarkan air mata telah memualkan banyak pihak. Apa-apapun kita tiada halangan jika Najib mahu terus menangis …

The Pakatan Rakyat machinery is at maximum speed as it engages BN. The feel good factor after the acquittal of Anwar has indeed revitalised the opposition front. Seriously though, one would ask where are the numbers which will determine Pakatan take over from BN? Could the slogan ABU(Anything but UMNO) that has sunk into a number of the coalition partners in BN.

Who amongst the BN partners will betray UMNO and join forces with PR?

BN intellegence and insiders knows too well what is going on behind the backs of the BN/UMNO. UMNO has even calculated that in Peninsular they are confidently safe at 80 seats and Sarawak and Sabah will definitely hold the KEYS to the continuity of the BN alliances

It seems the final tally will be determined by the slogan ABU. Who amongst the coalition partners will take the giant step to end the rule of BN and fit the final jigsaw of the Pakatan led coalition to rule Malaysia.

BN musts not underestimate the propaganda machinery of PR.The BN propaganda machine needs to keep abreasts with the times and musts stop churning out aging political ideology. Masing PRS President was quick to point out that this message,”No Barisan Nasional, No Development’ in Sarawak no longer works and is ineffective.

The current voters are “not only young but well educated and are very well-informed of happenings around them.They also more prosperous and had more needs than just the basic requirements.

Masing also hints to his BN counterparts,’He said one of the ways was for the elected representatives to be very sincere and honest with them.
“If we cannot deliver, we must tell them so. We must also always go down to the ground.

“I find that voters are more willing to accept the faults of YBs who work continuously and are always easy to reach throughout their term and not become visible only when the election is around.

Masing is very well informed politically and he said,”the Internet has changed the scenario now.We musts be informed and we need to stop all the inaccurate propaganda.”

Who will get it right depends very much on the propaganda which will be accepted by the voters who will mark the ballot papers. The political machinery of both BN and PR will need to get into the mindset of their members that they will only be one winner.2nd bests does not exists in politics.

WE WILL WIN 120 or more will rule Putrajaya for 5 more years.

Confession of an elderly Italian man

I am not superstitious...so let's talk after earthly life

One subject I try to avoid is Religion --- that's because you can talk until all of Sharizat's cows come back to their three condos, we wouldn't be be able to come to a fruitful conclusion. I can talk about life, death and half-dead, and it's from a common man's perspective...and we can usually nod or shake our heads over different POV. But we won't start yelling and howling, K!

I have writ that although I was born in the year of the Pig, I believe I have traits of a Cat. I am no kitty I add.

Those who follow my blog writHes religiously, like every Sunday instead of going to the church, you'd know that I write personal stuff on this "holyday", so I call it Sunday's RUMINATION. A legacy from a weekly column I had writ for an Online newspaper, which one you can ask? My answer is: please don't be kaypoh -- spend time pondering about THE STATE OF OUR NATION, and related to it, your life, existence and death.

mGf Jon A has wisely observed that we don't choose where we are born, just like we don't choose our relatives. (If I can choose the later, I wouldn't have 20percent of my relations still with me; as for the former, the story follows...)

I often use DDC, so newcomers don't often understand half of what I write. Do I care? NO, because my Rumination is often shared confidences. Between fRiends. Yes, don't drop the "R", I often remind. If I used DDC plus revealing the chinoserie in me, I'd writHe Don't dlop the "l", C?

I have expended like 4 to 5 of a cat's lives, so have 9 minus 4 o5 left. Into my 10th life, I don't want to be a writer no more, don't wanna die a pauper TWICE! That would be so masochistic.

I told mGf -- DDC for myGOoDfriend, not myGALfirend, OK! how many times have I told you, last time or lately, that I don't love you for asking, what, you have so many galfriends ah?

Now where was I?

I was ruminating on the re-incarnated life of a blogger named Desi.I am a journalist by training, but when I write in weird ways, I am no gay, just a BUM. Or BUMmer -- it's democratic world in blogosphere -- so you coin a term as you like it, even if Shakespeare could have invented it but put in a slightly different way.

Ah, now it's 9.23PM, after a hearty meal and some kaypoh-ing wit' some political mateys -- knot yet fRiends -- I come back to ruminate cos I have promised, and more often than not, I keep my promises. Sometimes, I put on a facade, add one paragraph, well padded, like some cowgal's antomy, I end my reflection because I feel lazy, hazy, dazy and mazy -- if any word doesn't belong, please strike one/wan!

So talking about Life -- there has been many predictions that 2010 would mark the year of DOOMSDAY for the human race. Armageddon indeed, Apocalypse, but who am I to join the league of Nostradamus? I can't even predict if I'm getting my allowance cheque for sext month.

What I would say is IF THE WORLD AS WE KNOW IT ENDS ON THE SAME DAY FOR EVERY ONE OF US, "it would be the most unfairest Godly/unGodly/human/inhuman verdict!" WHY should "innocent" people, most of us are I think,working hard for an honest day's living, suffer the same fate as the MURDERERS, DAYLIGHT ROBBERS, RAPISTS and bloodSUCKERS? (that seem to proliferate in one political party hear!:(

Indeed, I would then come to a final conclusion there is no such thing as a GOD, however you deem Him to be.

Desi would pray to the Almighty, spare me and the hordes of cowboys and cowgals, whose only sin is they like to lay about, sing for their supper if they didn't have breakfast and lunch, then drink tehtarik to drown their sorrows because the bars would not serve soft drinks. Maybe some smartaleck trade can put the beer in A&W lookalike cans and label it as Rut Bir.
I wouldn't touch beer as I think I would embarass myself turning red-as-a-lobster, and that would turn off a cowgal, wouldn't I?


O if Nashville, 10yC would bear with one more, I would like to be dare before the End of the World is sung to its finish by Skeeter Davies. I would rather look forward to this scenario, I told my sunny boy this aft'noon:

Lebih 50,000 hadir Rapat Rakyat Perdana

ALOR SETAR, 15 Jan: Lebih 50,000 rakyat di seluruh Kedah hadir pada Rapat Rakyat Perdana yang diadakan di Stadium Sultan Abdul Halim Mu'adzam Shah, di sini, malam tadi.

Kehadiran orang ramai dari pelbagai lapisan masyarakat itu menjadikan padang bola Stadium Sultan Abdul Halim penuh sesak sehingga melimpahi ke luar stadium.

Keadaan itu menjadikan suasana di padang stadium itu dipenuhi pandangan kopiah yang memutih yang cukup memukau pandangan jika dilihat dari atas tempat duduk di stadium itu.

"Macam duduk di Padang Arafah," begitulah reaksi yang dituturkan oleh Mursyidul Am PAS, Tuan Guru Datuk Nik Abdul Aziz Nik Mat ketika hendak memulaklan ucapannya.

Dalam ucapannya, beliau yang juga Menteri Besar Kelantan antara lain mengingatkan orang ramai agar sentiasa mematuhi perintah Allah sepanjang hidup di dunia ini.

Sebelum itu, Presiden PAS, Datuk Seri Tuan Guru Abdul Hadi Awang ketika berucap antara lain meminta orang ramai mengekalkan sokongan kepada PAS bagi membolehkan Kerajaan Pakatan Rakyat terus memerintah di negeri itu pada PRU Ke-13 akan datang.

Program yang dipengerusikan oleh Naib Presiden PAS, Datuk Mahfuz Omar itu turut menampilkan beberapa penceramah lain dari PAS dan Pakatan Rakyat, dengan dimulai Menteri Besar Kedah, Datuk Seri Azizan Abdul Razak.



Turut hadir dan menyampaikan ucapan termasuk Ketua Pembangkang yang juga Ketua Umum PKR , Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, Presiden dan Timbalan Presiden PKR, Datuk Seri Wan Azizah Wan Ismail dan Azmin Ali.

Manakala dari DAP, Pengerusi dan Timbalan pengerusi parti itu, Karpal Singh dan Tan Seng Giaw yang juga Ahli Parlimen Kepong.

Ceramah pada malam tadi adalah kemuncak kepada Konvensyen Pakatan Rakyat Ke-3 yang diadakan di stadium tersebut bermula jam 8.00 pagi tadi. -hd

Puluhan ribu banjiri Rapat Rakyat Perdana

Ribuan rakyat di seluruh Kedah dan kawasan sekitar membanjir Rapat Rakyat Perdana yang diadakan di Stadium Sultan Abdul Halim Mu'adzam Shah, di Alor Setar, malam semalam.

Kereta hadirin berbaris sepanjang dua kilometer akibat kesesakan dan orang ramai terpaksa berjalan kaki ke tapak ceramah yang penuh sesak sehingga ada yang terpaksa duduk di luar stadium.

Ketayap putih yang dipakai sebahagian besar hadirin mejadikan suasana di padang stadium itu dipenuhi pandangan putih yang cukup memukau jika dilihat dari atas tempat duduk di stadium itu.

Dalam ucapannya, Ketua Pembangkang, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim merayu kepada seteru politiknya agak menghentikan ejekkan terhadap diri dan keluarganya dan berkata "cukuplah" atas apa yang telah mereka lakukan dan mengulangi kesediaannya memaafkan mereka.

"Mereka telah lakukan segala-galanya terhadap saya, sepak saya, telanjang dan membogelkan saya tetapi saya bersedia memaafkan mereka.

"Jangan ganggu kami lagi kerana kami akan terus berjuang," katanya membayangkan beliau tidak sanggup lagi untuk bertolak ansur dengan serangan kotor dan firnah yang dilemparkan lebih lama.

Sebelum itu, orang ramai terpukau dengan kehadiran Mursyidul Am PAS Datuk Nik Aziz Nik Mat yang datang dengan bertongkat, walaupun jelas kelihatan masih uzur.

"Macam duduk di Padang Arafah," kata Nik Aziz ketika hendak memulaklan ucapannya, berhubung jumlah yang sebegitu ramai yang hadir.

Sambil mengingatkan orang ramai agar sentiasa mematuhi perintah Allah sepanjang hidup di dunia ini, beliau meminta rakyat untuk menerima kumpulan-kumpulan etnik dan agama yang berbeza di sekeliling mereka.

Nik Aziz kemudiannya berkongsi pengalamannya bagaimana masyarakat majmuk hidup aman damai di Kelantan.

"Orang-orang Cina telah pun derma kepada masjid. Bila mereka terima apa-apa bantuan kewangan daripada kerajaan, mereka akan derma sebahagiannya kepada kami,” katnya.

Turut mendapat perhatian hadirin adalah ucapan Pengerusi DAP Karpal Singh yang berucap dari kerusi rodanya mengenai perbicaraan Anwar.

"Kami akan terus lawan, sama ada Peguam Negara buat rayuan ataupun tidak," katanya.

Beliau turut menyentuh secara ringkas kemelut hukum Hudud di antara ketiga-tiga sekutu Pakatan dan berkata mereka mesti menyelesaikan isu itu sebelum pilihan raya umum ke-13 yang akan datang.

"Isu ini kami masih lagi dikaji. Kita mesti bincang dan cuba cari jalan penyelesaian," katanya kepada pemimpin-pemimpin PAS yang juga hadir dan duduk di pentas utama. Antara mereka, termasuk PAS Presiden Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang dan Naib Presiden PAS Datuk Mahfuz Omar.

Abdul Hadi ketika berucap antara lain meminta orang ramai mengekalkan sokongan kepada PAS bagi membolehkan kerajaan Pakatan Rakyat terus memerintah di negeri itu pada pilihan raya umum ke-13 akan datang.

Turut hadir dan menyampaikan ucapan termasuk Presiden dan Timbalan Presiden PKR, Datuk Seri Wan Azizah Wan Ismail dan Azmin Ali serta Dr Tan Seng Giaw yang juga ahli parlimen Kepong.

Driving the industry forward

It is obvious that Khazanah Holdings Bhd neither have the right attitude nor plan for industry driven corporations under its stable, even though it is a national car project. In the seven years that Khazanah as the single largest shareholder with 42% holdings of the corporation, they did do substantial investment nor did they bring in the right people to develop where it was last left of.

In short. they were never interested.

Khazanah during PM ‘Flip-Flop’ Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi’s tenure a former merchant banker as the Chairman. They did not follow through the previous management’s strategic plans and initiatives. A good example the failure to follow through projects that have been proven successful and profitable such as ‘Waja’, the first indigenous Malaysian car.

Proton Waja: Launched in 2000

Proton under Dato’ Mohamed Azlan Hashim between 2004 and 2009 also failed to develop the peripheral and supporting industries, even though they had the chance and reason to do so. In fact, under Azlan’s watch Proton sold off the Italian motorcycle maker MV Agusta for a token one Euro to Gevi Spa, which till present day became the most scandalous GLC asset-stripping exercise.

Proton actually digressed under Khazanah.

Except to start a hybrid engine program, Khazanah did  not put any additional capital into the national car project. In fact, there was not enough funds for research and development, so much so that Proton could not develop any new models. Proton actually went back to car ‘re-badge’.

This is not odd even though they are the single largest shareholder, they did not have anyone on board at board level. For that, they never looked into invoking any new technologies into their products.As a result, Proton lost out to its closest competitors. Coupled with the ‘open policy’ of bringing in streams of new imports and CKD brands, Proton even lost the command of the local market.

It is not surprise that Proton only manage to export 10,000 units annually. It is a shameful figure especially after more than 25 years, this level is not what ‘Father of Industrialised Malaysia’ Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad hoped Proton to be.

What is displeasure to many is that without strong boardroom leadership, Proton has been seen as not charting its way forward. Not only Proton did not pursue serious collaboration with technology providers from the known brands, they also failed to capitalized on technology that some local companies managed to develop. Case in point is Petronas. Its partnership and collaboration into the Formula One since 1999 with Sauber, later with Williams and now with Brawn, the oil company engineers managed to develop a 1600cc engine. Proton not only did not capitalize on this work and development of the engine project, they did not attempt to utilize this engine into its future models.

One of the desired direct offset from the development of the automotive industry via Proton is the vendor development program. This is one program which Proton could help Bumiputra businesses grasp the technology driven SME/Is. However, since Proton growth itself is not encouraging, then the vendor development program especially for Bumiputra vendors has not been very active. Moreover, when the export of Proton is not at the level where it can promote the growth of the spin-offs.

Proton needs a new ‘driver’. One of the more active proponent to drive Proton and the Malaysian automotive industry forward is DRB Hicom Group. So far, they have proven to assemble leading marks such as Mercedes Benz, VW, Suzuki, Isuzu and the distribution of brands such as Audi. They also developed a chain of distribution and after sales services for brands under Proton.

It is not about a carmaker as a group of companies. It is about the automotive industry as a whole. The continuous production of Proton ensured that over 300 Malaysian vendors develop the entire supply chain and component manufacturing. The whole program is about capacity building.

DRB Hicom’s experience in the whole supply chain system in their complex in Peramu Jaya, Pekan is their strong testimony. Over 2,500 Malaysians are employed and they even developed a program to continuously develop the right workforce talents. They incepted an automotive college across from the main plants and by next year, they hope to be upgraded to university college status offering end-to-end diploma programs.

DRB Hicom’s management team is of very capable people. They have proven themselves, especially the ability to work with the  VWAG Group. Now, they are ready to lead a production concern. Especially with the ready strong collaboration with VWAG Group.

The plan is to invoke the technology from VWAG and develop new products. Then, Proton will be staged for an export market. This will automatically create the synergy for the capacity building, which include vendor development program.

Industry sources believed that with additional fresh capital and technology injection, Proton could really drive the Malaysian automotive industry. When they manage to significantly increase production, then they should be ready to invest into molds and die. The reliance on import of many of the key parts would be reduced. The synergy of the Shah Alam, Tanjung Malim and Pekan plants wonld prepare Proton for the capacity of a strong export market.

Proton being part of DRB Hicom would also be eventually be a boon for the defense industry. That is the strategic intent which would reduce the reliance of imported military vehicles. This was one of the strategic spin-offs when the national car project was started back in 1983.

Needless to mention that Tan Sri Syed Mokhtar Al Bukhary is a towering Malay entrepreneur, who has manage to grow his business and deliver some of the task lead upon him which is strategic in nature. Port of Tanjung Pelepas is one of gleaming example of the Al Bukhary Group success story.

The strategic intent for the nation is more valuable than Khazanah relinquishing their investment. Proton as an industrial pride of the nation and the consideration should also be centered around which party can take the automotive manufacturer to a higher position.

Federal Government could also fully utilise DRB Hicom-Proton to be the umbrella and catalyst of SME/Is, especially the 1,100 Bumiputra firms with huge potential to be driven into major industry players within the next five years. It is TERAJU grand plan for the Bumiputra Commerce and Industrial Community (BCIC), realising the ‘meritocracy’ within the ambit of New Economic Policy, as envisaged by Prime Minister Dato’ Seri Mohd. Najib Tun Razak.

Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad’s original nucleus group of companies to embark into high technology via Hicom Group of companies back in 1984 where Proton was born in August 1985 and eventually the full peripherals for the automotive industry via DRB Hicom followed suit. That made the national car project formidable with the whole nine yards, upstream and downstream. So, the opportunity for DRB Hicom to have Proton as part of the group would simply be just like, ‘sireh pulang ke gnggang‘.

There is definitely a synergy in automobile industry from DRB Hicom taking the lead and Proton being part of the bigger group of automotive conglomerate to progress and bringing the Malaysian car industry upwards.

Ahli parlimen Kota Bharu, Datuk Wan Abdul Rahim Wan Abdullah ketika menjemput "keramat hidup" itu untuk berucap, turut menceritakan semula saat genting ketika Nik Abdul Aziz dibawa untuk menerima rawatan di hospital sebelum ini.

Nik Abdul Aziz, 81, telah menceritakan semula pengalaman ketika jantung beliau berhenti berdegup untuk beberapa ketika, kata Wan Abdul Rahim.

"Mungkin itulah apa yang digambarkan oleh Yuri Gagarin, manusia pertama ke angkasa lepas... Beliau kemudian ditarik turun dan jantung beliau berdenyut semula.

"Saya kata Allah turunkan dan amanahkan kepada Nik Aziz untuk lakukan sesuatu yang besar kepada rakyat.

"Beliau perlu bersama untuk bawa kita ke Putrajaya," kata Wan Abdul Rahim lagi yang mengetuai laungan takbir beberapa kali. - MalaysiaKini

Lebih 100 Anggota Pas Kampung Kerdas Gombak Sertai Umno

KUALA LUMPUR: Seramai 102 anggota PAS Kampung Kerdas Gombak bertindak keluar parti dan menyertai Umno selepas tidak berpuas hati dengan kepimpinan PAS.

Kumpulan itu yang diwakili Mohd Jais Ismail menyerahkan borang untuk menyertai Umno kepada Ketua Umno Bahagian Gombak Abdul Rahim Kamarudin dalam satu majlis di sini, Sabtu.

Jais berkata selain tidak berpuas hati dengan kepimpinan PAS, keputusan mereka untuk meninggalkan parti itu juga kerana kecewa dengan tindakan parti yang memecat Exco kerajaan negeri Selangor Datuk Dr Hasan Mohamad Ali daripada parti tersebut.

"Kami tak percaya dengan PAS dan kami yakin hanya Umno dan Barisan Nasional yang mampu membela nasib rakyat," katanya pada majlis pengisytiharan anggota PAS Kerdas menyertai Umno dan ikrar menyokong Barisan Nasional.

Jais, yang juga Ketua Zon PAS Taman Kamariah Gombak, berkata keputusan untuk meninggalkan parti dibuat atas kerelaan sendiri dan bukan disebabkan oleh tekanan atau tawaran daripada mana-mana pihak.

Menurutnya walaupun dipujuk oleh PAS supaya terus kekal bersama parti itu namun mereka nekad dengan keputusan masing-masing iaitu menyertai Umno malah dijangka lebih ramai lagi akan menyusul. - BERNAMA

Ramainya, penyokong Hasan Ali. Ingatkan 1000 orang rupanya 102 orang je. Tapi sayang Hasan Ali tak nampak muka pun.

Siap habiskan duit buat baju baru PAS warna kuning banyak2 pakai sekejap kemudian buang. Pakai baju BN warna biru. Bila masa pula baju kuning dah jadi baju rasmi PAS. Pandainya berlakon, macam real2 la konon...

Yang paling kelakar, selama ini PAS mana ada jawatan Ketua Zon tapi tiba2 PAS dibawah Hasan Ali ada Ketua Zon. Kelakar...kelakar...nak menipu pun biaq la real sikit......-paspb2

Berpuluh, beratus, beribu 'ahli PAS masuk UMNO'... Setelah disiasat rupanya ahli-ahli UMNO yang isytihar masuk UMNO. Depa cuma perlu cari sorang ketua yang mungkin betul2 dianggap PAS (penyokong yang bermasalah atau longgar) berikan upah yang lumayan, bagi skrip suruh baca... muka boleh masuk tv dan akhbar.

Itulah taktik propaganda murahan yang digunakan sejak 50 tahun, dengan UMNO beranggan bahawa orang Melayu semuanya bodoh2 belaka dan boleh dibohong seduit dua macam tu saja. Tapi depa silap banyak, ni zaman maklumat cuma di hujung jari, sepantas kilat pembohongan iu akan didedahkan ke seantero dunia.

Cerita 'UMNO masuk UMNO' ini hanya popular setiap kali menjelang PRU. Dunia berubah, mentaliti manusia pun berubah tapi strategi lapok UMNO tak pernah berubah... siaaannnnn. Kedah La

Projek lembu: TPM, Noh juga perlu disiasat, kata DAP

Memandangkan Ketua Wanita Umno Datuk Seri Shahrizat Abdul Jalil sedang bercuti rehat selama tiga minggu, pemimpin veteran DAP Lim Kit Siang berkata, rakyat Malaysia tidak boleh mengharapkan bahawa beliau kembali.

Dalam satu kenyataan hari ini, Lim berkata walaupun Shahrizat sepatutnya berbuat demikian secara sukarela memandangkan siasatan polis ke atas kemelut projek ternakan lembu Perbadanan Fidlot Kebangsaan (NFC), beliau percaya bahawa beliau ditekan untuk berbuat demikian.

"Tiada siapa yang percaya Shahrizat akan kembali ke kabinet atau Parlimen selepas tamat cuti tiga minggunya yang berakhir pada 3 Februari ini," katanya.

Menurut Lim, ini disebalik kenyataan Perdana Menteri Datuk Seri Najib Razak bahawa keputusan bercuti Shahrizat yang juga Menteri Pembangunan Wanita, Keluarga dan Masyarakat itu adalah sesuatu yang tepat.

"Ya, saya dah berbincang dengan Shahrizat. Keputusan untuk ambil cuti itu adalah keputusan yang tepat untuk membolehkan pihak berkuasa jalankan siasatan yang rapi,” kata Najib dipetik berkata di akhbar-akhbar hari ini.

Ini, kata Lim, bermakna bahawa Shahrizat berjaya menghalang siasatan dijalankan ke atas peranannya yang didakwa dalam skandal tersebut yang tercetus berikutan pendedahannnya dalam Laporan Ketua Audit Negara 2010 tahun lalu.

Sementara itu, Lim juga menggesa kerajaan menubuhkan siasatan awam berhubung skandal NFC yang juga perlu merangkumi peranan yang dimainkan oleh Timbalan Perdana Menteri Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin yang juga menteri pertanian semasa kejadian itu dan Datuk Seri Noh Omar selaku menteri pertanian dan asas tani sekarang.

Lim berkata bahawa pembekuan aset NFC sementara menunggu siasatan oleh Suruhanjaya Pencegahan Rasuah Malaysia (SPRM) dan polis adalah tidak mencukupi tanpa siasatan penuh dijalankan.
