In the cases of the following images, if you see the "dirty images" then you, unfortunately, have a dirty mind. Flying pots and pans in Shafie's household Posted: 20 Apr 2012 12:31 AM PDT ![]() Pots and pans flying through the air could be the work of a poltergeist but not in the household of Minister of Rural Development cum UMNO Vice President, Dato Shafie Apdal. It does not need a supernatural to take off. An old gossip of Shafie with starlet Zahida Rafik resurfaced again. The latest has a twist would have Shafie avoiding pots and pans from Datin Shuryani binti Shuaib. ![]() And you guessed it, his father-in-law is Dato Shuaib Lazim, one of the Datuk T trio who happens to be close to us. No worry with father-in-law. He is equally polygamic. Is Shafie polygamycally married or is she only his "comfort woman" (for lack of a better word)? This rumour of Shafie and Zahida has been going on for years and in fact, this blog had written of it way back in September 28, 2010. [Read here.] Subsequently, a denial came in. Not actually a denial, but his Press Secretary, Zukri Valentino gave an account of his denials made in Semporna and Tawau. [Read here.] Now that there is a new twist to the latest rumour that is attracting attention. Not only there is this 55-year handsome Minister and a surgically beautiful starlet, there are transactions amounting to RM1.5 million and police reported confession from the starlet's driver. Pity on Shafie. He is on his home return to Semporna and Tawau for a regatta. But he will be marred by this scandal. Bet the press must be keen to hear his answer. Already his political plan could not be executed and one of his boy is being charged on nine counts of criminal breach of trust (CBT). Sudah jatuh ditimpa tangga. But he is not out yet. It depends on how he deals with it. Hope Dato Shahrizat would pay attention to pick up a pointer or two on how to handle a tight situation like his. True as you say, some male UMNO leaders also have problems, but how do they handle it. ![]() Let's extract from opposition portal Malaysia Chronicle on this new twist of an age old scandal: Meanwhile, in the minister-actress affair, Sivarasa and Zuraida Kamaruddin, the PKR MP for Ampang, showed to reporters a police report lodged by a man named Noor Azman Azemi, who claimed that he had been hired by the minister be the actress’ personal driver. His job also entailed “monitoring her movements” since 2009.Why would a political party marred with a Ketua Umum whose comfotable with prostitute, boys and other's wife and openly supports Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transexual (LGBT) rights bother of an affair between a Minister and a movie star? Let's be fair to them, their focus is on the money and not the affair, although an affair is a great attention grabber. If that is the case, both the police and Shafie need to establish whether there exist all those transaction that accumulate to RM1.5 million. Did Zahida made transaction at Maybank's branch at Socso building on Jalan Ampang Kuala Lumpur? It does not jive to us for Zahida to receive such sum of money and have his driver carry the money to the Bank to bank it in. Most people are secretive of their financial affair, especially so, if Zahida had allgedly received such sum in one go. The sum of RM1.5 million and all those luxurious living and possessions of Zahida sounds too good to be true. It is stupid of Shafie to splash so much for a woman whose not a lady anymore in her teens. Don't ask how we know. We know. We know of it 2 years ago, when we wrote about it. Off course, it needs to be establish whether Noor Azman was Zahida's driver and supposedly on Shafie's payroll to spy on her? Wow ... possesive man this father of 6. Why all the doubt? One is talking of Zuraida Kamaruddin who is ditinctly different in the looks and diplomacy department than Zahida or Dato Anifah Aman, respectively. She had been caught on many occasions making allegations based on false or forged documents. There is rumour that this Singaporean-born MP had forged her documents to get her Malaysian citizenship. Wallahu alam. This sexual scandal is not good news for Shafie. At one time, he adamantly wanted to return to Sabah to assume the Chief Minister. That would put UMNO Sabah in a quandary. Shafie do not have sufficient support within Sabah grassroot and perhaps he wanted to return to build up that grassroot. He would upset the stable politics under current Chief Minister, Tan Sri Musa Aman. He is rock solid and is here to stay. No Sarawak Report expose can shake him. His deft political touch is both refine and shrewd that one acquintance of ours, close to the Aman brothers, described him as Melayu Yahudi terakhir. Whatever that means but we can guess what he means. Shafie was still adamant until someone had to arrange a four-corner meeting involving one of the Aman brothers to tell him point blank. He do that he'll lose his VP post. Sabah votes will not come his way. If Shafie is able to shake off both these problems, he still have to contend with another. We were made aware of this news from the ICAC News website: Datuk Dr Abdul Shariff Hamid is a known Shafie boy. Before expressing our anger to this incident, allow us to laugh .... hehehe ... hahaha ... kah kah kah. When ever did this sonofabitch ever obtanied a Doctorate degree? In fact, did he ever had a Bachelor's degree, perhaps he had but a Master's degree? We know this bloke too well. He is a besan or in-law to our former partner. Used to be a reporter with Berita Harian and then moved to The Edge in the earlier days. Suddenly he surfaced in UMNO's Penerangan office. Words are that he is the mother fucker that kicked KMU's server out of Penerangan's office. On Khairy's instruction, he left it by the elevator and told the KMU boys to take it away. Subsequently, he was tasked to be the Secretariat for the Kelab UMNO Luar Negara. He was arrogant and territorial, refusing to cooperate as though that Kelab is a future power base for him. The VP in-charge for these students happened to be Shafie Apdal. Hehehe ... Datuk Dr Abdul Shariff sounds too distinguished to this insecure pu*imak. His more appropriate name should be Sharif Dol samseng Kampung Dusun. One is talking about using money for students! Frankly, he is the sort of character that is unprincipled, pragmatic, and narrow-minded enough to justify doing such things. If he did it, may he burn in hell. He could also join his - destined for Kajang prison for CBT - besan. Off course, it's for the court to decide. ![]() Now... Shafie. About Zahida, everyone talks about them being married in London since 2010. How much longer can he keep denying? Come off it. Dato Noh Omar admitted he was dancing with his second wife and all allegations stopped. Just admit it la ... If not married and there are wedding bells planned, announced your marriage. Just face the flying pots and pans. No media and blogger is going to waste their time to defend on personal issues like this. As far as the money part, which is more important to deal with, they could help. But it has to be substantiated with documents to be convincing. Denial is not enough to fade the negative perception. This one is better than NFC and the funny cow imagees that came with it. It's got a beautiful, young, sexy, cleavaged, bosomed, saloon-ed skinned, ... glamourous starlet that well outshine NFC's cows and their condo included. By the way Shafie, thanks for the curry kepala ikan in Port Dickson last year. |

LONGEVITY BONUS OR LONGEVITY CRISIS? Posted: 19 Apr 2012 10:32 PM PDT
The International Monetary Fund )IMF) has just released its Global Financial Stability report 2012. The report carries a warning of the rising healthcare costs of ageing. An underestimation of the average life span by a mere three years can translate into additional trillions of dollars in pension and healthcare costs for the global economy.
Malaysia may not be on the list of world's fastest ageing populations, but it certainly holds the record for having the world's biggest civil service - 1.4 million Malaysians work in the public sector. Just imagine how much this will cost the government (and the tax-payers) in pension payments when these civil servants retire. For other issues related to the "longevity bonus", do listen to this roundtable discussion held at Standford University. It's 90 minutes long, but worth spending the time if you have the interest. Some of the issues raised include: ~ social / financial security ~ job opportunities ~ medicare / healthcare / care-giving ~ nursing / retirement homes ~ transportation ~ lifelong learning ~ women's role / dominance in ageing ~ discrimination ~ inter-generational divide ~ social media (the 65+ are the largest growing cohort on Facebook) The solution lies primarily in education. We all want to enter our golden years physically fit, mentally sharp, and financially secure, don't we? This awareness should be instilled as early as possible, and as part of the school curriculum. Luffy vs Usopp: The Spirit of the Clashing Men Posted: 19 Apr 2012 09:21 PM PDT One Piece is something special to me not just for the action, or the humour, or the deep and intricate plot. It’s special because of the drama, the emotions, the human aspect. Luffy vs Usopp is, without a doubt, my favourite moment in the entire series. The argument, the fight and the break-up between Luffy and Usopp makes my heart quiver. I can feel the roiling emotions: Anger, pride, nostalgia, pain, sadness… Regret. I present to you, IMHO, the defining moment of One Piece. I’ve cut short some of the fight and the brief moments of humour, to focus on the touching drama of this episode. I hope you can appreciate this turning point in the lives of the Straw Hat Pirates. ——————————— INTRODUCTION: The episode opens in the midst of a heated argument between Luffy (the captain and leader, who has great strength and the stretching/recoil powers of rubber) and Usopp (the ordinary-strength crewmember with a slingshot and penchant for unorthodox tactics) over the fate of their ship, the Going Merry. Usopp wants them to keep on adventuring in the Merry no matter what, as he considers it one of their nakama (a comrade who is even closer than a friend), and is incensed over what he views as Luffy’s callous attitude towards Merry. Egos and tempers collide, and soon more than just that will clash… ——————————- CLICK HERE TO VIEW ALL THE POSTS LINED UP IN ORDER (recommended). Or click to view each post separately. When thugs have no fear of the police Posted: 19 Apr 2012 09:15 PM PDT When thugs have no fear of the police 9:07AM Apr 20, 2012 YOURSAY ‘It is a pity that the police who were there did not stop the attack. It only shows that the police are afraid of thugs.' Thugs attack students at Dataran Merdeka Gerard Lourdesamy: This is a growing problem with Umno-BN sponsoring thugs and gangsters to do their dirty work. That is the big game plan of Umno-BN warlords - try to stir violence and make it into a racial incident. The students should be praised and commended for their bravery and steadfastness. In light of the threats from DBKL (KL City Hall) and the violence last night, the students should stay put at Dataran Merdeka which belongs to the rakyat and not to the royalty, Umno-BN leaders and their cronies. The people should come out in full force and support the students. We getting sick and tired of these forms of state-sponsored terrorism and acts of violence. Moontime: The police did nothing to prevent the attack? If the attack is meant to invoke fear among the students, au contraire. Instead, it will just make them stronger in their resolve to uphold the cause. The thugs are cowards, miscreants and a pathetic lot. The authorities should investigate whether or not they were being paid to do the job. There's no place for misguided vigilantes here in Malaysia. Mohan Ghandi: Police inaction confirms that these are Umno thugs. Just reading Home Minister Hishammuddin Hussein's statement confirms his defensive attitude. He knows, we know and Malaysia knows. Don't Play-Play: The police had advised these delinquents not to continue with their camping in Dataran Merdeka. It is for their own safety. But being stubborn and hardheaded, these juveniles chose not to listen and said that they can take care of themselves. So be it. When there was commotion last night, the police thought that they were fighting among themselves. The police came to their rescue when these students finally came to their senses that they needed help. Thank you, PDRM (Royal Malaysian Police), for going out of your way to help these ungrateful and stubborn juveniles. Ferdtan: That was we feared most - Umno outsourcing mat rempit thugs to cause disturbances when the authorities cannot handle the situation legally. It is a pity that the police who were there did not stop the attack. It only shows that the police are afraid of thugs. Anonymous_3e21: Enter the Guinness World Book of Records for being the stupidest act of all act for attacking the very people who's only cause is to protect the children's of the attackers from being continually cheated by the regime. Odev: These are hired thugs, similar to thugs hired to attack churches, to desecrate mosques by dumping pig's heads, to explode homemade bombs during DSAI's (Anwar Ibrahim's) Sodomy II verdict. But the public at large are already matured politically. We are not going to over-react, but we do know where is our ultimate destination. Syabas mahasiswa. Mushiro: The students protest is also symbolic of the many unhappiness that Malaysians have against the government. For the police to just watch when the thugs attacked speaks volumes of the PDRM's attitude, bias, cowardice and blind support for Umno. Umno has come to the level where they feel they can only win the elections through gangsterism. I commend the young students for their firm stand and their peaceful approach. 1Malaysia2Cina: This is just like the Arab Spring when the ruling regimes sent thugs to beat up the protestors. I hope the BN government will come out strongly to stop this gangsterism and restore sanity. Meanwhile, to the brave students, "soldier on". Dingy: Who are the people who are against students sit-in protest in Dataran Mederka? One may not agree with their objective, but it is a peaceful protest. Why would thugs attack these students? What had the student done to them? The police were present during attack but didn't do anything until students begged them to do so. Bender: This is typical Umno modus operandi. If you can't fight them with brain, resort to brawn. That's what they've been doing for the past few months: sending thugs to disrupt Pakatan Rakyat ceramahs and use force to make a point (e.g. Lynas incident). Only this time they've set a new standard, and a very lowly one at that - beating up helpless students who have done nothing but express themselves peacefully. Obviously those paid thugs are morons whose intellect is as low as the money that they'll get for such act of gangsterism. But the more remarkable is the kind of stupidity shown by the puppeteers who think that they can actually achieve something by resorting to this kind of foolish act. No less pathetic is the attempt by some commenters in Malaysiakini (Umno cybertroopers obviously) to pin this on Anwar and Pakatan Rakyat. Kairos: When a government employs thugs and gangsters to help them rule and intimidate, it has definitely overstayed its time in power. Are the law enforcement officers of the country so inept that they need to step back and allow thugs to call the shots? Who are the real police? When the difference between thugs and the police is removed and the two become one and the same, Malaysia is on the verge of anarchy. As a loyal and faithful rakyat of this beloved country, I don't feel safe anymore. Headhunter: One can't help but being angry not only because of the thuggery which was rather expected, but at the police for standing by and not doing their job. Why are the police so docile these days? Aren't they paid to keep peace in the country or do they think they work only for Umno? If the IGP (inspector-general of police) and his senior officers cannot do a good job, they should resign and join politics. This Umno culture of violence and intimidation must be stopped and if the police cannot do it, we the rakyat have only one option and that is to kick the BN out before they turn all our youths into bigots, racists and thugs. Jean Pierre: It's unfair to accuse the police of being biased when in fact they were neutral. The policemen, the flag pole and the rubbish strewn on the road were not doing anything. http://www-us.malaysiakini.com/news/195506 Seals: Face is there ...no arrest? The world That I see

'There must be a cause for a cause’. |

When Bumpkins Are More Than Intellectuals Posted: 19 Apr 2012 12:04 PM PDT There was a mob of UMNO-affiliated people who assaulted students at the Merdeka Square in the early hours of the morning. Not only I got pissed, but it turns out that Malaysia is churning more bumpkins then intellectuals. The bumpkin syndrome is obviously the opposite of progression and churning of intellectuals. It's not just that mob group but some politicians and grassroot members across parties on both fronts. These bumpkins have been lately making immature statements. You got Azwanddin Hamzah declaring war on LGBTs at the expense of paying more attention to those that involve greater sins. You got PERKASA saying that APs are exclusively for Bumiputras only at the expense of equal playing field. Ahmad Maslan calls students as opposition tools And of course, the ringleader behind the early morning incident is the same fat asshole that was at the Asalkan Bukan UMNO event in Jalan Kebun in Klang. Malaysia is in the state of disarray largely because many of its ruling leaders and politicians are bumpkins, despite having education certifications. Those of people who managed to watch the Parliamentary proceedings would at times have noticed that there are MPs who make immature statements. And our education system, emphasizing only on passing exams, teaching children to obey without questioning at all turns out to be creating more bumpkins instead of what the real world careers demand: thinking and creative people. There are some who have managed to get past it, which I am happy to say it. But many still have yet to do so. In school, children are not even taught of proper financial education, save for the "save for the rainy day" thing and the basic money management skills. Any economist would tell you to do the "let the money make money for you", but few know it. That's why UMNO-men keeps harping on "if PR does this then the country would go bankrupt" bogeyman thing. Anyhow, today in light of the PTPN protest issue, my opinion is that the PTPN is mismanaged. It should have been done properly and the issue of "interest" from money is also another bone of contention to deal with. Since the fund is used by everyone, it is against the Muslim religion to have riba or interest out of it. It's considered as a sin right? If the claim that whatever profit gained from the interest amount to paid back is given to the alleged cronies in private colleges, then I supposed that there is a legit reason for kicking up the bucket to fuss about. Out of those who don't really agree about protesting PTPN, the big percentage of it are those who blindly follow (aka, bodek) those who simply outright say no. In other words, you follow the fool and like them start to have foam in their mouths. A quick study of their characters too can tell them whether they are bumpkins (narrow minded) or otherwise. Let me make one thing very clear. All those names (e.g Ibrahim Ali, Azwanddin Hamzah, Zahrain Hashim, etc..) I have mentioned are not the brightest bulb on the Christmas tree, if you know what I mean. They are the opposite of intellectualism. If you have any opportunity to personally interact with them you will come to the conclusion that they are country bumpkins. They are very narrow-minded and shallow in thinking - Human Rights and Fundamental Liberties For Idiots, 16 April Can you count around how many politicians currently part of the running government of the day can fall under that category above. Today, you have seen a few apart from Ibrahim Ali, like Sri Gading's Mohd Aziz, Khaled Nordin, Hishamuddin "Kerisman" Hussein and Ahmad Maslan (all Johoreans) making bumpkin-grade statements. It's a pity that many of the grassroot followers couldn't even establish the line between right and wrong. They just a product of the education system as to study hard and excel in exams, not to think out of the box and be given the creative freedom whenever they can. Why do you think that there's more than half of people who didn't even reach up to the degree level? Sometimes, what people from opposition say are by point right that Malaysia's brain drain still goes on and on no matter what programs and initiatives launched including TalentCorp. I can't really think of anything more than seeing the country going in groundhog mode with bumpkins running the show and the many Pak Pandir antics calling a day's work. |

Posted: 19 Apr 2012 09:42 AM PDT UMNO leaders are all arrogant, insensitive idiots!
A perfect example of this is Higher Education Minister Khaled Nordin. His “arrogant” tweet reaction to them (Demonstrators of PTPTN at Dataran Merdeka) being attacked by a mob last night has really pissed of a lot of students! This morning, Khaled tweeted: “No one asked them to camp out at Dataran Merdeka. When something happens, don’t go asking for sympathy”.Instead of condemning the attacked and asking the Police to make sure the perpetrators are arrested, he had to give such a sarcastic and arrogant statement. How is this idiot our Minister of Higher Education?!? Not to be outdone, Umno information chief Ahmad Maslan has rubbished attempts to link UMNO to the thugs who attacked students protestors in Dataran Merdeka last night. "If there is a car tyre punctured by the side of the road, that is Umno's fault. If there is a motorcyle punctured, that is also Umno's fault. “If there is a bicycle tyre punctured on a deserted road in the middle of the forest, that too is Umno's fault," sniped the deputy minister."I don't know, I was asleep last night. People sleep at home, not in the middle of a field," he told reporters at the Parliament lobby. AGAIN another UMNO leader showing how to be arrogant and scarcastic instead of showing interest in justice or concern about the well being of the Malaysian youth! How can these people be the leaders of our country?! And so that everyone in UMNO are on the same page, Home Minister Hishammuddin Hussein today called on the public to be wary of claims that the student protesters camping out at Dataran Merdeka were attacked. Falling short of condemning such attacks, he said such allegations can be spread through mobile text messages and online media to stoke public anger. “There have been such cases where allegations of such nature have been used...to raise emotions, be it in the areas of race, religion and now involving students,” he said. He added that it is important to differentiate between real and fake allegations, also advising the public not to react. “Let the necessary agencies investigate, and at the moment the one who has control... of Dataran Merdeka is the Kuala Lumpur City Council (DBKL) and I don’t see it as a major security issue,” he said. FOR A Home minister he has shown that he has absolutely no idea on how to do his job! His statement shows lack of urgency or even an ounce of concern for those hurt by the attacks! And as expected (MCA being good lap dogs for UMNO), MCA Youth education bureau chairperson Chong Sin Woon hoped that the opposition would discourage the public from holding frequent demonstrations. “(We) hope the opposition now realises that in their feverish calls to Malaysians to participate in one demonstration after another be it in Malaysia or globally, reactions from their detractors may arise. I think this idiot Chong should go and live in North Korea as he obviously do not understand or appreciate the value of living in a democratic country where people are free to voice their stand without the fear of being beaten by those who do not agree with their believes! But I guess you can't blame him! As an MCA leader he must be use to just accepting what UMNO say without voicing out their disagreement for fear of being beaten up!! IDIOTS!! We need to change the government! |
