Pentestbox doesn't recognize any comands.

When Pentestbox launches, I receive this in the terminal:

  'doskey' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.
  'doskey' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.

Also, none of the commands work,they return:
  'sqlmap' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.

I am using using the latest version with Metasploit.

Sorry for the late reply. 

You are facing this problem because command prompt cannot find doskey. 

You can either add doskey.exe in bin folder or add C:\System\Windows32\ to the system path.

Let me know if that doesn't fix that issue.

That was it. Sorry for the trouble, I updated Windows and it removed all of my PATH variables. Thanks for the help though!

I get the following error when I try to start any tool:-

"anytoolname" is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.

I am using pentest box without Metasploit please help.

You need to setup doskey in your system, this problem is faced in less than 5% of PentestBox user, i will make sure to fix this by default in next version.

I found a temporarly fix.

Open the Command Prompt (cmd),
Go to properties
Then go to Options

Look for "Use legacy console" (requires relaunch) and check it

Then close cmd and restart...everything should be good.
