Based on your attendance at the recent Churches for Middle East Peace Conference at Gallaudet University, I am writing to tell you of PAL CRAFTAID, a ministry of compassion, hope and healing for peace and justice in Palestine. Since 1993, PAL CRAFTAID has imported Palestinian olive wood sculptures and counted cross stitch needlework made by Palestinian artisans who offer fair wages for their workers. The profits are returned to programs/projects in Palestine supporting both Christians and Muslims.
I write to encourage you to order some of our inventory for your Alternative Christmas market, conferences or other events where you might sell. You can order on consignment at any time of the year but fall is definitely the time when most such activities take place. Our PAL CRAFTAID brochure is attached to this email. Please check our web page at www.palcraftaid.org for more information about our organization and to see the quality of our inventory.
As people of faith and people interested in peace in Israel/Palestine, I cannot think of folks who would be more interested in supporting this type of organization. Please contact me or any of our regional representatives for more information or to place your order.
For those of you to whom I spoke while we were at the CMEP conference and to whom I gave the brochure, I hope this will be a reminder about us. Thanking you in advance for your consideration of support of PAL CRAFTAID through the sale of our inventory.
