Pilgrimage, Awareness and Education
October 16 - 30, 2010
In His Steps Ministries invites you to join us for a very unique pilgrimage to the Holy Land in which we will introduce you to the Holy and historic sites and also meet people from the Christian, Muslim, and Jewish communities as we learn about the current situation. Following In His Steps on Pathways of Peace will provide a new context for teachings of justice, mercy, and reconciliation. We are encouraged to think about how to help meet the needs of the people we encounter as we journey with a willingness to learn from and serve with those who are working for peace.
We have long-term relationships with many Israelis and Palestinians so you will meet a broad spectrum of courageous peacemakers working for justice. Traveling through both Israel and the West Bank will give an in-depth picture of the issues they are facing. In Bethlehem we regularly welcome between 80 – 120 buses a day, so it is safe, the hotels are full. Come and join us for an experience of a lifetime.
Rev. Branwen Cook is an experienced leader who will be coordinating the delegation from October 16-30, 2010. This is a small group tour to allow for more in-depth discussions and opportunity to develop personal understanding through relationships. We still have a few spots available for the fall olive harvest tour, but time is running out. Please send your inquiries and applications to Rev. Branwen Cook, phone #617-322-9900
