4. Lay the pocket piece on top of the main piece with both pieces facing up. Match the lines on the pocket piece with the marks along the bottom edge of the main piece. Place a pin on each marked line.

@Sandshark, thank you for a very detailed reply. I have compared both the Chenbro and Netgear 1100 caddies and decided that if I am going to take a chance I will obtain the 1100 ones (only becase the Chenbro ones don't have the screws holes in the base of the caddy), like the Netgear ones. I also have a ReadyNAS 3138 on my Network, and I have tried those caddies in my ReadyNAS 2100 but they are too wide so will not fit.
Unfortunately, the caddies for the desktop models are not interchangeable with those for the rack-mount, so finding spares for the rack-mount systems is even more difficult than for the desktop. The chassis looks to have been manufactured by Chenbro (as are the newer rack-mount systems), but unlike the newer models, the legacy units seem to be expressly designed for Netgear. The ReadyNAS caddies are pretty much a mirror image of the Chenbro RM21400-04 caddy. The "ears" may be a bit easier to find, though many Chenbro chasses have them permanetly attached.
I believe the older push-button caddies for the 1000 and 1100 will work. The 1500 is more contemporary with the 2100 and has the square "buttons", so those are more likely to work. But other than by buying a complete unit, you are going to have difficulty finding caddies for them.
NewEgg has a listing for an RTRAY-10000S, which is listed as for the 3220 and 4220, but the pictured individual caddy is definately not for those models. The NAS models pictued are the 3220 or 4220. You could take a chance on it.
Frankly, though, I wonder why you would need spare caddies. It's not that difficult to mount a replacement drive into one and the need to do so doesn't arise often. If you have some kind of plan to be constantly rotating drives, you should re-think that. The units weren't designed for it.
Hey, so I normally don't work with the caddy controls on in Max 2016. Just a visual preference, I like the old look better. I noticed today that when I am working on an Editable Poly in Edge or Vertex sub-object mode, I get this little Manipulate Caddy Control that pops up on screen, even though I have caddy controls turned off in my preferences. Is there a way to turn off this manipulate control? I think I attached a screen shot if it helps. Thanks!

Still loving my Bat-Caddy and see no decline in the battery! I have just about converted a friend to join the Bat-Caddy family... This past Sunday he asked to switch with me as we went up a hill. I pushed his Sun Mountain and he followed my Bat-Caddy, by the top of the hill he was serious on getting one... Thanks again for a great product!
I absolutely love my Bat Caddy X4R! Very easy to assemble, It's light and easy to use. It's very responsive, a regular work horse, streamlined with good looks! Everyone that has seen it has been impressed! Why would anyone want any other electric bag caddy? We may be ordering another one for my wife soon.
I have used my X4R cart for five months now and I truly love it. I researched many electric carts before making my decision to purchase the X4R. There are many electric carts on the market, and most of them are very expensive, very ugly, or both. The X4R is such a simple and elegant design and always attracts attention. One gentleman did all the research and found that the Bat-Caddy had the best value (quality, functionality and cost.) About 65% of our members walk our two private courses and I expect that after they see how walking becomes a bit more easy with the Bat-Caddy more may opt for remote controlled push carts.
I wouldn't even consider the Kangaroo, Bag Boy, or PowaKaddy because of styling. I think the Bat-Caddy balances performance/price and styling extremely well. What it allows me to do it walk the golf course erect rather than bending forward as I pushed my Sun Mountain around.
I love my new Bat-Caddy X3R! I played 2 rounds so far and it is fantastic. It set up very easily right out of the box. I was hoping to give it a test run at the local park but I ended up getting an early tee time the next day after delivery and I can honestly say it is very easy to use. I love walking off the greens and not having to go retrieve my old push cart. It really keeps you in the flow of your game. The remote control is small enough to fit in any pocket. This was a great investment in my health and golf game. Thanks for offering a great product!
