Hello, I'm able to save a query but when I try to load it I get the
above message. Any suggestion?

Thank you, Cristian

Hi Cristian,

Thanks for testing, Paul is just finishing some work on the load and
save mechanism, so this should start working again real soon.

Thank you Tom. Are you planning to make a new 0.x release available or
should we wait for the 1.0 release to fix the problem? On which site
should I check for updates?

Another question: I noticed there is a file called WEB-INF/
application.properties with a commented example that seems to be aimed
to store stuff in a mysql schema. Where can I find the scripts for pre-
creating such a schema?

Kind regards, Cristian

Hi Cristian,

We will continue with at least 1 more 0.x prior to 1.0, but we do have a CI server with all our latest builds on it. Check out http://ci.analytical-labs.com

Er forgot the 2nd part, yeah Paul did Mysql hibernate setups, so you should be able to point it at your mysql db for persistence, if you create a database, hibernate will create the schema for you.

Cheers

Tom

Cristian,

Check here (PDF is best reading for formatting) http://ci.analytical-labs.com/job/CI-End-User-Docs/

There is a section in the doc that outlines how to change the hypersonic SQL persistence to mysql/oracle/postgres.

Let me know if there are any issues you find with it... and, let me know what works for your setup (mysql on linux, etc).

thanks,

Mike

Hibernate takes care of generating the DDL statements at runtime because PAT uses the annotated POJOs. I think you can also add a file named hibernate.properties in the classpath and put in it a simple configuration option to generate a SQL file as well at runtime. Read through Hibernate schema updater docs and you will find it easily.

Hope it helps..

You can download the latest sample server from:
http://ci.analytical-labs.com/job/pat-standalone-server/150/
I have fixed the query saving / loading yesterday evening.

We will do some small changes and testing these days and PAT 0.8 is expected
within the next few days (including a plugin for the biserver)

If you need any further assistance with the mysql setup, just let us know

-Paul
