Role : Pentaho DI Developer

Location : Bellevue, WA

Duration : 6 months

Description :

• Design data architecture for ETL - Pentaho DI

• Maintain / Change data mapping and ETL programs

• Document existing feature requests, in order to accommodate any and all new ETL and jobs/workflows for new events and features

• Assist and support Customer's with the architectural feasibility and use of systems, existing ETL jobs, based on specific data use cases.

• Create Data flow diagram and information architecture

• Design data mapping and create HDD, TDD

• As necessary, determine outside data source requirements for data analysis and optimization.

• Create necessary queries, scripts, Extract Transport Loads (“ETL”) and schedule tasks for automatic data extraction and manipulation from different data sources (parsers).

• Create use case and test cases, work with BA and end users for designing and developing ETL rules, business rules

• Provide directions in best practices and performances

• Taking Backup and performing selective restore of ETL mappings

• Document existing feature requests, in order to accommodate any and all new ETL and jobs/workflows for new events and features

• Modify and troubleshoot queries, script and ETLs to adapt with any changes coming from data source.

• Coordinate with Customer's engineering teams on generating and updating data (i.e. TPIM, planning team, etc.).

• Expertise in decoding the ETL jobs and codes to ability to convert into SQL or other forms of code

• Administration and maintenance of Pentaho DI code / jobs / workflows

• Documentation and deployment support of NetProphet and Pentaho code to production
