Hello Neighbours,

 

I am about to settle down in my new home and i would like your opinion on the following

 

1. Internet provider , who are you with ? Is the service satisfactory ?

2. Cable - which Dish network do you use?

3. UPS battery - What do you use ? Any thing i need to watch out for before i buy one?

1) Net-fi : Satisfactory. USB dongles are another option based on what company has good reception in your villa

2) me- airtel. Tata Sky is another option readily available.

3) Aamron and Exide dealers are available in Sarjapur

I hope you are well settled by this time.

A lot has changed with Net-fi since the time I recommended it and today.

Their service has gone from satisfactory, to below satisfactory, to totally sub-standard.

They are off the hook 2-3 times in a day.

If they have to 

And since I am a work from home employee no one feels the brunt more than I do.

That given there more than double price tqag compared to other options in the main city.

I want to know what are people using to connect to the rest of the world.

Which USB dongle has the best reception etc..

Anyone with a my-fi experience.

Anyone has used the Reliance/Vodafone hot spot router..

Any idea when is BSNL coming to campus.

I think once landline and Broadband come into picture most of our internet woes will be taken care of..

Can't use Tata.

Their involvement in the 2G scam and cancellations of Licenses thereof is reason enough to not give business to them.

Retaining services of proven corrupt corporate houses and then asking for Corruption free India is something I do not understand.

I am planning to move as a tenant in house no 85 by end of this month. Did this problem get resolved? if yes, What option are you using for internet?
