Hi all,

There are many couriers which will call you saying we do not have service in 562125. 

They will ask you to come and collect it in Sarjapur bus stand, or Wipro or Madiwala in some crazy cases..

If you continue to oblige you may well do so for the next 5 years.

Here is what is one way you can stop this "Nautanki" (drama)

1) Tell them that they have accepted to deliver at 56215 and that they are legally bound to do so.

If they do not have the service they are not supposed to accept the courier at the first place.

2) If they refuse to deliver at your door ask them to return it and tell them you will ask the sender to never use their services.

Also tell them you will make a consumer complaint against them.

3) Blast the sender on choosing a service that cannot deliver. 

Ask them for compensation and to redeliver cause you had furnished proper Zip Code to them.

Its their duty to make sure of service before sending.

 

If you have provided your Zip before hand you are entitled to home deliery.

DTDC had an ill practice of calling you at Sarjapur Police Station.

I complained at DTDC Head office since they promised delivery at 562125.

The delivery guy was taking us for a ride by telling DTDC that we are in remote location.

When the fact is that we are only 1.3 KMs by Road from center of Sarjapur.

In fact the DTDC office is 7-8 kms from SARJAPUR and they are remote, not us.

If they again ask for coming to police station etc complain at 08030575397 or at 09900077964.

So net-net if they take the consignment, they have to deliver to your door. 

None of this come and collect business.

Of course FedEx and UPS will go to the length of coming and collecting it from you. 

Just google their customer care call no and call to book..

That is why they are what they are and these morons will never be so.
