Hi all,
This is the proposal from the Net-fi guys.
I did NOT hear from anyone or anybody whether they are ok with this or not.
I also did not hear from anyone from the super-secretive "Core-committee" members whether these guys have a tie-up with the builders for the CCTV or intercom layout..
From the proposed layout it does not look so but you can never say or tell.. and its always good to be sure.

I am getting approached by the net-fi guys on a daily basis to get this approved asap.
Please suggest asap..
Thanks,
Niraj

Sir,

As discussed please find the attached proposed network diagram for FTH connectivity for pentagon passiflora.

Requesting the permission to continue further to give better service further with out latency in the network.

Any clarifications please do revert for the same.

also what net-fi is telling me and I quote here:

1) Their cabling will include
- some cable TV service (not a known name to me like Airtel DTH/Tata Sky)
- Landine telephone (Airtel)
-Internet (same as now, not sure if the price will go up or down or remain same)

2) Builder has no problems with this layout and has approved it.

3) Builder is not associated with them to get CCTV/Intercom connected..
Though it seems Net-fi has sent a quote of Rs 4000/villa to Builders for Intercom + Landline Handset in each villa but builder has not agreed to the same

According to net-fi the third-party chosen for the intercom layout in this area is/are:
a) not from Sarjapur but outside and do not operate in this area unlike net-fi
b) cheap in quality and service
c) Will not maintain once the builder leaves Pentagon

This is all I know..
Please take the necessary steps to ensure a good install..
thanks,
Niraj

Hi Niraj,

I am only concerned about the price factor and the quality of network that NET-FI group is committing on.

As you mentioned in your previous mails that you do use there service and it is not satisfying in terms of price or the quality of service they provide.

I think we should approach BSNL folks and see to it if we can get BSNL connectivity instead of Net-Fi

Regards,
Amey

I was not trying to mock any person on the mails but just the signage, which used to be Committee Members and then changed to 'Core Committee' members.

On a very serious note its impractical and impossible for every committee member to attend every meeting. So when a mail comes from a committee member, core or otherwise, a name will give people a spoc to reach out to for that topic. Esp because a lot of discussions happen offline and for good reason.

Niraj,

Being a committee member, I would have expected you to handle this issue in the right forum rather than mocking people on emails. We need solution not issues.  I am sure you would have received the SMS reminder for committee members weekly meeting  ( Friday 8:30 PM ) , please make sure you attend this meeting and we will discuss this further.

For all owners,

We have been working on multiple action items and this happens to be one of it, FYI this issue has been discussed multiple times directly and indirectly with net-fi and from our end we made it very clear that we are not blocking them on any initiative at this point , we also want to make sure that the builder is responsible for providing internet, intercom, landline  and CCTV on the same subject.  As part of the transition , the builder should be giving us these services with good quality and i do not think we should deal with any vendor directly yet.

I hate to discuss every topic in this manner on an email, we have already planned for a monthly newsletter for providing timely updates to all residents. I also want to let all of you know that you can write to email id passiflo...@gmail.com to raise any concerns you may have.
