You should be able, from the history list, to use all the normal hints keys. For example, on FF15, I bring up history, hit "f", and type in "1<Enter>" to visit the most recent link.
I'm resurrecting this because it is still a problem and I didn't explain myself clearly enough. The basic problem is that I can't filter the :history command using more than one word.
If I do :history flickr<ENTER>
I get a list of history entries and can use 'f' to follow hints, etc.
However, if I do :history flickr activity<ENTER>
Pentadactyl just says "Output Multiline Press ENTER or command to continue" and then if I hit <ENTER> (or anything else I can think of) the message disappears...but none of the list of history entries that were showing before I pressed <ENTER> are listed. The command line just closes.
